I'm currently home from college for summer break so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I'm available for multiple day visits, and I have a very flexible schedule!

I'm always more than happy to go for walks, play fetch, point a laser, snuggles--anything! I'm a big believer in letting your pet decide what we do and keeping them happy! For longer stays it's important to take care of the house too, I will always clean up after myself/the pets and take precautions such as closing windows for storms.

It's helpful to know as much about your pet as possible before the visit! I've worked with all kinds of animals, from super shy to very high-energy, but it's important to know if me and your pet will be a good match, to ensure we both have a good time!
A typical day
Typically with dogs we'll go on a walk, and we'll go whatever way they seem to think is most interesting to keep them happy and entertained! I usually work on focus exercises and other training techniques to keep them focused to make sure we both have a fun walk! For cats I'll let them decide how much/little we do to keep them comfortable. I'll keep them company, play music, pet, and play if they're up for it! I know a lot of kitties can be timid, so I never force a relationship and let them come to me.

Pet care experience
I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! Currently, I work for Creatures pet care in Kalamazoo, and I have gotten plenty of experience working with both cats and dogs. I've worked on leash/walk training and etiquette with dogs using various focus exercises, and have gotten plenty of time watching and playing with cats as well! I've worked with all kinds of dogs from high-energy to timid, and understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. I own two cats (Bro and Dude) and have been around animals my whole life!

Kira dropped in on my cat for just over 2 weeks. Very good communication, lots of pictures of her playing with and petting the cat, and no problems with the house. This was a repeat booking and I would hire her again.
Kira was amazing!! She stepped in last minute and did an amazing job taking care of my cat. She took lots of pictures and made sure to give my cat food, water, playtime, and cuddles. She responds to messages very quickly and you will always have peace of mind with her. I would recommend her to anyone with a furry friend :)
Kira was great with my kitty and kept her happy and playful while we were gone for a few days. I felt very comfortable leaving Yuumi in her care
