Your Dog’s Home Away From Home
Dogs have always been a big part of my life, ever since I was a little girl a dog featured on my Christmas and birthday list every year! I currently have two well-loved dogs, Robbie and Bow, and frequently look after friends’ dogs, giving me experience with different breeds, ages and personalities. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing in the garden or simply relaxing on the sofa, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of care, attention and affection. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust and I will provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

Kira is incredible! Could not recommend her more. She has a beautiful facility with a huge dog safe garden. My dog is really tricky with anxiety and history of reactivity. Kira was patient and consistent and built up patches trust slowly. She wasn’t phased when I explained patches history and needs. Patch had the best trial stay last night ahead of a week stay at the end of the month. It could not have gone better he loved Kira, her dogs and her home. Thank you Kira x
From the moment of requesting a stay to the moment of collection Kira has been nothing but amazing. We met prior to the stay and it turned into an hours chit chat, throughout the stay I received videos and photos and lots of updates. I know Bernard had an absolutely amazing time! Kira is nothing but amazing, I recommend her a thousand times over!
Kira is very dependable and I trust her completely when it comes to looking after my pet. She doesnt just feed him, she will stay and interact / play with my cat and also send me pictures for peace of mind. That is the main positive of having kira look after a pet. She will give you complete peace of mind that your pet is not only safe but happy. I am one happy pet owner when she is in charge of his care.
Kira takes just as good care of my dogs as I do, in fact maybe even better as they didn’t want to come home! I completely trust Kira with looking after my dogs and know no one else would do a better job than her.
There are very few people that I would feel comfortable leaving my Dachshund with. He is a dog who can regularly become overwhelmed with the world around him and because of this, he needs to stick to certain regimes/training approaches. Kira’s experience and knowledge of dogs puts me completely at ease when asking her to have Sweep for me. Kira takes note of every dog’s individual needs and will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that your dog is cared for and totally loved whilst in her care.
We honestly couldn’t recommend Kira more highly. When it comes to trusting someone with your dog, especially when they’re truly part of the family, it’s no small thing. Like many, we felt that no one would ever be quite good enough… except Kira. She has looked after Kylo, our cheeky sprocker, on a number of occasions, and every single time she has gone above and beyond. The level of care, attention, and genuine love she shows is something really special and incredibly reassuring. What speaks volumes more than anything is Kylo herself. When we go to pick her up, she happily sits at her front door as if she belongs there, which says everything you need to know about how comfortable and content she is in her care. That kind of trust simply can’t be faked. There is no one else we would use and no one else we would recommend. In fact, we’re pretty sure Kylo would disown us if we ever tried! Kira is truly one of a kind, and we feel so lucky to have found her.

Schedule
I currently offer dog boarding and pet care on weekends when I am home and able to provide plenty of attention and supervision. Your dog will be treated as part of the family, with regular walks, playtime, cuddles and company throughout their stay. I am flexible with drop-off and collection times where possible. I have a flexible job where I can work from home so if you do have any dates outside of the weekends please feel free to message me as well

Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two friendly dogs of my own and a secure garden for supervised play and exercise. I will follow your dog’s usual routine, feeding schedule and any special instructions to help them feel at home. I provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

A typical day
I am lucky enough to live close to a secure dog park, so dogs in my care can enjoy plenty of safe off-lead play and socialisation. I am also a keen walker and a member of a local rambling group, so if your dog enjoys longer adventures, we can explore the beautiful countryside together. For older dogs or those who prefer a slower pace, I have a secure garden where we can spend time playing, relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. During the summer, I even get the paddling pool out so dogs can cool off and have some extra fun. My aim is to make every dog feel happy, safe and part of the family while they are with me.
