I can't wait to meet your dog!
I have been a dog lover since I was a kid. I have been a dog sitter for many years for friends and family for a variety of breeds. I own my own home and we have a large fenced in back yard. I currently own two dogs, a male Boxer mix named Apollo and a Boxer girl named Brasil. I have volunteered with MN Boxer Rescue and Midwest Animal Rescue Services. I have fostered dogs in my home and I am very comfortable and skilled in training and taking care of dogs. All dogs are treated like humans in my home because to me they all are. The bed, sofas, carpets and chairs are all on limits haha. I love all dogs and look forward to meeting yours! I work from home so I am not usually gone more than 4 hours at a time. Your dog will get plenty of attention and play time. I have a 6 foot vinyl fenced in yard so the dogs cannot get out. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed and be on the furniture and on dog beds as long as it is OK with the owner. We do have an outdoor pool so if jumping in the water is an issue for your dog we are probably not a good fit. If I am not home the dog will need to be crated.

Kira was an incredible dog sitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent the best photos and thoughtful updates each day, which meant so much while we were missing our pup. She was also very intentional about introducing our dog to hers, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. On top of that, she took the time to show us around her home so we knew exactly what Grace would experience while staying there. We felt completely at ease leaving Grace in Kira and her two sweet dog’s care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, communicative, and trustworthy sitter.

Kira was absolutely amazing with our pup. He struggled with us leaving at first and refused to eat. She asked if it was ok to make him some boiled chicken and that helped him eat and warm up to her. We were gone for 11 days and by day 3 he was happy and adjusting to being there. I am so grateful for the care she took of him!
Kira is the absolute best!! She took care of Duke like family when he wasn’t feeling well!

Harmonogram
I work from home so I will be here most of the time your dog is visiting. If I do leave, it’s usually for a max of four hours.

The dogs are able to wander around the house and play in the backyard when I am home. I do require kennels when I am gone. I have a pool in the backyard so if jumping into water is an issue for your dog we won't be a good fit.

We love to hang out and play in the yard. I have a very large fenced in yard where the dogs can run and play. We spend the majority of our time outside when we are able to.
