Pet care experience
I live across from the beach!
I'm an experienced dog owner (from small to large) and a big time dog lover. I grew up with large dogs, and my parents bred puppies for a short time. At most family dinners there are usually anywhere from 5 to 12 dogs. I currently have a small dog of my own named Bark Wahlberg, and he's very friendly and loves making new friends. I also live across the street from the beaches and close to Glen Stewart Ravine, which are great for dog walking.

Always pulls through for me! My life is very last minute & she always makes it work. Very appreciative of her & so is my puppy Lani!

Kira has been awesome to help break up my puppy’s day while I’ve been busy opening a bar! She has come on very short notice and my pup Lani loves her.

Kira has been awesome! She leaves thoughtful report cards, and I’m always confident my big silly puppy is well looked after! It’s so nice to have that peace of mind - I would recommend Kira to anyone!

Kira was great, my dog was very happy there. I will definitely use her again.
Kira is great. Super responsive and great communication!
Kira was responsive and reliable to help our new puppy to settle into his new routine. I would highly recommend Kira.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
In case of emergencies, I also have a car and live very close to several 24 hour vets. I have experience giving oral medications to dogs, as well as injected medications. One of my previous dogs was diabetic, so I'm also experienced with giving insulin to a dog. I'm also good at monitoring and understanding animal behaviour, and my neighbourhood is very dog friendly.
Pets
A typical day
We will go for walks around the neighbourhood (very quiet residential streets), to the local dog park, and to the beach. The beach has some great off leash spots which are excellent for meeting other dogs and swimming.
