Caring Dog Lover
I've had dogs of my own all my life. Currently, I am a owner of two dogs Finnegan and Cammy. In addition to owning my own, I have had experience fostering and volunteering in shelters. Due to personal experience with my own dog Cam, I have plenty of experience administering meds orally. I have had experience with all kinds of breed as well from putty mixes, high energy dogs like Viszlas and huskies to big breeds like Great Danes.

When we picked Marcy up 10 days later, she pulled on the leash a little bit, but not anxiously. To me, that says she was glad to see me, happy to be reunited with her usual pack, but that she wasn’t distressed over being left behind. I could tell she got good care, and the pictures Kira sent showed a relaxed dog making herself comfortable. That’s a good dog vacation.
Our high energy vizsla is one tired boy after spending the day with Kira! We are extremely thankful that Walrus was able to play with Kira’s vizsla, Finn, who is a well mannered, handsome boy. Kira sent us lots of pictures and updates while we were out skiing, and even took Walrus to the dog park and a long trail walk. Kira, thank you so much for being flexible with our plans and for putting in the big effort it takes to make a vizsla happy and sleepy! If we were local to Burlington, we would definitely ask Kira to take care of Walrus again. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Kira & Finny!

Such a great dog-sitter! My dog had such a fun time with her and her dog. My dog wets the bed at night, and Kira took amazing care of her.

Schedule
I'm a full-time educator, so currently my schedule would be from 5 am-6:30 am and then from 4-any time. I am available for both boarding and occasional stay at your home to take care of your fur babies.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a yard but live in a great area to take your pup on long walks. My dog is fully crate trained and an older guy, so he may spend some time in his crate to make your dog comfortable. I give lots of cuddles, walks, and playtime so your pup will feel nurtured at all times.

A typical day
Daily, I take my own dogs for a dog park visit, long walk along the Winooski river or a nice hike. When out at the dog park I am intentional on making sure the dog park empty, that way I can focused just on my own dogs as well and yours!
