Availability
My schedule is flexible, so your dog gets steady attention rather than being squeezed between errands. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, walks, and drop-in visits throughout the week and on weekends. I keep feeding, walking, and rest times consistent, which my deaf dog taught me is how animals feel safe and settled in any environment.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm in an apartment, so I keep dogs leashed and supervised on every outing and stick to safe, familiar walking routes. My home is calm and clutter-free, and I dog-proof any space before a new guest arrives. Living with a deaf dog has made me extra alert to surroundings and safety, since I can't rely on my dog hearing a hazard. I send regular photo updates so you always know your pup is happy.

Information Kip R. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me about your dog's routine, quirks, and any special needs before their stay — feeding schedule, medications, fears, leash habits, and how they do with other dogs. The more I know, the smoother things go. I'm especially comfortable with dogs who need extra patience, including those who are deaf, anxious, or simply slow to warm up.
A typical day
Every dog gets a mix of physical exercise and mental stimulation. We'll do good long walks to sniff out the neighborhood, play games like fetch and find-it, and have plenty of cuddle and rest time too. I adjust the pace to your dog — a senior pup gets gentle strolls, while a high-energy dog gets more play. Reading each dog's signals is something my deaf dog taught me to do naturally.

Pet care experience
Caring for my own deaf dog taught me that communication with animals goes far beyond words. I learned to read body language, use hand signals, and build trust through patience and consistency. That same attentiveness comes with me to every pet I look after. I treat each dog as an individual, noticing the small cues that tell me when they're anxious, playful, or just need space.
Reviews
Kip is fabulous with dogs! He trained our Golden Retriever and then our Maltese Mix dogs. With patience, love, and keen observation he does a wonderful job taking care of animals.
