My schedule changes depending on staffing needs, but generally, I have at least three days off a week. I am happy to accommodate my free time around your dogs schedule (eating and walking times, etc)

I do not have a fenced yard, but live on 5 acres and will always use a leash for your dog outside, if they need. If they are staying overnight with me, they are welcome on the bed or anywhere they are comfy. I do have friendly cats so they must be cat friendly (will not attack or try to kill them). I only take one dog (or multiple dogs in same family at a time) as I already have one dog and two cats in my home; this makes it very easy to make sure all parties get along and get plenty of one on one time and exercise!

Treat motivated or not super into them? Do you allow them to go to a dog park (where all dogs are vaccinated) or not? Anything that may make their visit more comfortable?
A typical day
I love hiking and would love to take your pup with, if you allow. I am happy to accommodate the schedule your dog is used to. My dog typically get fed at 7 am for breakfast and dinner between 6-7pm; between those times we typically go to the dog park or on a hike/play fetch.

I work as a Park Ranger in Yosemite and live in Groveland full time; my schedule varies depending on the season and staffing, so please reach out with any requests and I will try to assist you (or point you in the right direction). If I am unavailable and you are having a hard time finding someone to watch your animal, while you explore the park, I am happy to make dog friendly suggestions for you either inside the park or outside the park. With this, I worked as a vet assistant for my mom (who is a vet) before moving out here and I am extremely comfortable around all sizes and types of dogs (and cats!). In addition, I have personally taken care of and owned both dogs and cats for pretty much my entire life. Outside of work, I climb and hike in most of my free time and am happy to bring your dog along, if they would like that. My dog is quite active, so high energy dogs are welcome and I am used to them. I hike with her off leash in off leash friendly areas, but I am more than happy to keep yours leashed if they do not have great recall. If you have any questions or concerns, I will be happy to address them.

Chevy was so spoiled!! Kinny took him hiking 7 miles with a lot of swim time in the lake! He’s very happy & tired, which is perfect since we spent the day hiking & are completely exhausted too!! We were grateful for Kinny’s help with last-minute booking to venture out in Yosemite for the day! She was wonderful with our 16w old ACD puppy and even gave her a ball to keep, which was a really nice gesture. Our puppy hasn’t put it down! She spent time relaxing outside with both of our dogs during the drop-in visit, sent many videos and pictures, it was clear they were in great hands. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter!
Kinny is amazing!!! She responds so quickly, sends so many updates, and managed to tire out our high energy puppy. You can tell she really loves dogs and treated ours like one of her own. Couldn’t recommend her enough if you’re hiking in the park or just in the Groveland area.
Kinny was amazing with our Nova! She watched her for two days, took her on so many nice, long walks in the snow, and gave her her own little mammoth vacay experience while we were on the mountain 🏂 Kinny sent lots of pics and vids of our girl 🐶 which eased our separation anxiety and comforted us knowing/seeing that she was in great hands! I highly suggest her and will def be going back to her again in the future!
