Growing up with two poodles who felt like siblings taught me early on how to give nurturing, attentive care. I was lucky to have the unique experience of helping deliver their five puppies and raising them until they joined my other family members’ homes, which gave me a deep understanding of caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve had the joy of looking after more than 40 pets on my pet-sitting journey: dogs and cats of all personalities, sizes, and needs. From energetic 6-month-old puppies to senior dogs, to shy, reactive, or protective pets who require patience and trust-building, I’ve learned how to help every animal feel relaxed and happy! I’ve cared for an adorable 14-year-old dog under blindness, deafness, and medical conditions, needing daily medication and extra comfort; a strong hound in his prime who was initially aggressive toward people, and earning his trust until he walked calmly and happily following my lead. I’ve looked after tiny, timid Schnauzers, affectionate Labradors, playful Shepherd dogs, and many more. Cats, too; whether sociable cuddlers or independent souls, they always receive care tailored to their comfort and personality. We’re also skilled in training dogs, using positive, rewarding methods. We’ve been lucky to learn so much from our hands-on experience, applying what we’ve read and studied in real-life practice. Whether it’s helping them learn manners, reinforcing good behaviour, or teaching fun tricks, we aim to make training sessions rewarding and enjoyable for them! Above all, my goal is simple: to create a safe and loving environment where pets feel secure, understood, and truly at peace. Because to me, animals are family, and their trust is a gift I deeply value.

What a fantastic dog-sitter. King is clearly brilliant with dogs, and kept me updated with photos which was much appreciated. This was just for one night but I've immediately re-booked for a longer stay. It's great to know my Rhia is in such good hands.
King is a lovely guy who took great care of our nervous little chihuahua! We had a family emergency and needed to book someone last minute. He was very helpful and caring which put our minds at ease during a difficult time.

Harmonogram
Schedule: Pet care is a natural part of our daily rhythm because my partner is usually at home. This means pets in our care get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. We can easily adapt our schedules to match feeding times, walks, and any special needs: enjoy walks together, play games, or simply offer a cuddle. With usually at least one of us home, pets are never left alone for long, and we can keep a close eye on their comfort and well-being.

Safety, trust & environment In our home, we’ve created a warm, calm, and pet-friendly environment where pets can quickly settle in and feel at ease. They’ll have cosy spaces to rest, whether that’s a pet bed, the sofa, or a quiet corner that mirrors their routine at home. We live in a safe, vibrant, dog-friendly building in Central Milton Keynes, with easy access to some of the city’s best green spaces for walks and outdoor enrichment. For quick toilet breaks and shorter walks, there are landscaped green areas right around our building and along the nearby boulevards. Just a short walk away is Campbell Park, a beautiful open park loved by local dog owners, with wide paths, open grass areas, and plenty of space for relaxed walks or playful sniffing sessions. We’re also close to the scenic routes of Ouzel Valley Park, where peaceful riverside paths and natural surroundings make longer walks enjoyable and enriching for dogs who love to explore. For more adventurous outings, we often visit Willen Lake or Furzton Lake, both popular local spots offering spacious walking routes, water views, and varied environments that help keep walks stimulating and tailored to each dog’s energy level and personality. When caring for pets in their own home, we bring the same level of attentiveness. We’ve house-sat in many different environments: apartments, houses with gardens, and homes without gated yards, each with its own safety considerations. We communicate closely with owners about routines, home security, and any specific instructions, ensuring both the pets and the home they’ve entrusted to us are cared for with respect. We also value cleanliness and always leave spaces tidy and fresh after our stay. Whether it’s boarding or house sitting, safety and trust are at the heart of everything we do. We’re always happy to share text, photo, or video updates so you can see your pets happy, relaxed, and enjoying their time with us.

Activities: Ball-fetching, exploring local parks and wildlife, listening to dog music, classical and calming songs, tug of war, and practicing tricks during food time. Throughout the day, we always check on pets regularly, providing water, food, comfort, and attention, and adjust the routine to meet their specific needs.
