Dog Mom & Belly Scratch Expert!
Hi there! My name is Kindall, and I am new to San Diego! I am so excited to meet your fur babies! I’m currently in school working toward my Ph.D., and since I’m not working a traditional job right now, I have pretty open availability for pet sitting, walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. Plus, every booking helps put me through school, so your pets can officially say they helped someone become Dr. Kirby. 😂 I’ve had animals my whole life and am comfortable caring for pets of all different sizes, ages, personalities, and needs. I currently have two dogs and cats of my own who love making new friends, so if your pup stays with me, they’ll have some built-in buddies. They take their hosting duties very seriously! If your pets would rather stay in the comfort of their own home, I’m happy to come to them too. I’m also willing to travel farther for multi-day stays. I have experience giving medications and injections and will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Most importantly: I genuinely love animals! We’ll walk, play, cuddle, relax, and probably have a few conversations they’ll pretend to understand. I’ll give your babies plenty of attention and care for them like they’re my own while you’re away! (P.S. I give report cards after!)

Schedule
I’m currently taking online classes and am not working outside the home, so my schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my days at home studying, reading, doing crafts, and hanging out with my own pets. This gives me plenty of availability for walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and whatever routine your pet is used to. I’m happy to work around their schedule whenever possible!

Safety, trust & environment
I want everyone (pets and people included) to feel comfortable, so I require a meet-and-greet before care begins. I live in a duplex with a fenced yard where pets can play and enjoy plenty of potty breaks. Visiting pets can roam freely, and I also have a crate and a separate room available if anyone needs some quiet time or personal space. I have two dogs, so dogs staying with me should be comfortable around other dogs. I also have two cats, but they usually keep their distance from new animals and people. If I’m caring for your pets in your home, I’ll follow their normal routine and make them as comfortable as possible in their own space!

A typical day
Every day will look a little different depending on what your pet enjoys! I love playing fetch, spending time outside, going for walks, playing with toys, and, of course, getting all the dog and kitty snuggles I can! There will be plenty of potty breaks, attention, and time to relax too. I genuinely love seeing animals happy, so whether your pet wants to play all day or would rather curl up beside me while I study or read, I’m happy either way. Fair warning: they may get a little spoiled while you’re gone! 😂

- Please tell me anything that will help me keep your pet happy, comfortable, and safe! I’d like to know about their normal routine, personality, feeding and potty schedule, medications, allergies, medical needs, fears, triggers, reactivity, escape habits, and how they behave around other animals and people. Puppies are absolutely welcome! I also love sending pictures and updates, so please tell me what you prefer. Want one update a day? No problem. Want one every hour because you miss your baby? Also no problem! Just let me know so I’m not blowing up your phone or leaving you wondering how they’re doing! :)
