Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over two decades of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’m 31 years old, and my journey in pet care began at just seven years old when I took on the responsibility of raising and loving my family dog. By the time I was 17, my dog had developed diabetes, and I learned how to administer insulin injections twice a day—an experience that deepened my sense of responsibility, compassion, and attentiveness when it comes to animals’ needs. In August 2021, I launched my own pet boarding business, hosting fur babies in my home and providing them with a safe, loving, and structured environment. Since then, I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs with various needs, temperaments, and routines. I also have experience watching cats, birds, guinea pigs, and hamsters. :) I’m currently new to the Portland area and am offering house sitting and drop-in visits while I get to know the local pet community. I take pride in being clean, organized, and punctual, and I’ll always leave your home in excellent condition. I’m committed to building lasting relationships with both pets and their humans, and I’m currently looking to connect with regular clients in the area. Safety, trust & environment
I can house sit in your home with no restrictions on dog size. If you have a specific schedule for your pet (ie. scheduled walks, the use of puppy pads, medications etc.) I am very accommodating and will follow instructions as requested. I have experience with special needs dogs. I have had a blind dog, a deaf dog, and I am experienced in administering insulin injections and medications. I am located in Durham, North Carolina.

Kimie was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs while we were away on vacation. She gave us complete peace of mind by sending regular updates and photos, which we truly appreciated. It was so clear that she genuinely cared for them and treated them like her own. She made sure they got plenty of walks, love, attention, and cuddles, and our dogs absolutely adore her! Kimie is very sweet and patient. This was their first time walking with her, and she did a wonderful job—especially with our extremely shy dog. We really appreciated her calm and gentle approach.
Kimie was super attentive to our senior pup and gave us plenty of updates a long, which made us feel like he was left in good hands. Kept our house nice and tidy as well and we would definitely book again!
Our pups are obsessed with Kimie! She takes such great care of them and she is very thoughtful with the little things like bringing in our trash bins. She shares fun and cute pictures of them while we are away and we can tell they are having the very best time. Kimie is our top choice for house sitting and caring for our dogs when we are out of town.
Kimie stayed at our place while we were gone for a few days and it was so nice to receive photo's of our little ones while we were away! She was very easy to communicate with and we really appreciated her coming over for a meet and greet before we left. Would recommend!

Schedule
I am currently a part time math and chemistry tutor/ part time pet care giver. I have a pretty flexible schedule right now but as I start to gain regulars, my schedule will become more full. I have no children and no pets of my own at this time, so your fur babies will get plenty of love, time and attention.
