Sit, Stay & Play

I am a stay at home mom of two young children, along with our family dog ,Daisy, a dozen or so chickens, a few goats and cows grazing the pasture around our house. ****The whole family is involved in the day to day care of your dogs so I do REQUIRE your dog(s) to be young child friendly, as well as, dog friendly! Along with that we do REQUIRE proof of up to date vaccinations & rabies and flea and tick preventative for state licensing. My love for pets and a dream of opening my own doggie daycare/ boarding kennel is what has sparked me to create an account on rover and enter the world of pet sitting. Since moving to NC and having to board my own dogs, I understand the importance of trust when it comes to caring for your best friend(s). We treat each dog as if they are one of our own and they will spend their time within our home or outside for play and exercise. We hope to be your best friends bonus family or their home away from home!

Nico always loves getting to spend time at Kimberly's; in the pictures she sends, he always looks like he's having the time of his life! Awesome communication throughout the day, including photos of Nico playing with some of the other dogs. Definitely recommend Kimberly to anyone needing daycare or boarding!

Boarding • Apr 30, 2024

Kimberly was just the person we needed to care for our puppy while we were out of town! I knew that Nico was in great hands, and could tell how much fun he was having from pictures she sent. Kimberly's family, as well as the other dog guests they had during his stay, were perfect company for him. The afternoon we picked him up, Nico came home and immediately passed out--he had played hard for 6 days straight, and it showed! Kimberly was excellent at communicating, sending regular updates with photos. It made us feel so relieved to see him jumping around and playing rather than trapped in a kennel alone like he would've been if we'd boarded him. I would absolutely recommend Kimberly to everyone, and look forward to using her again in the future!

I never imagined I would be so comfortable having our pup Ralphie in doggy daycare right after medical procedures while I was out of town for work. I can’t give enough praise to Kimberly and her family— Ralphie was safe and happy and had so much fun with the other pups hanging out with them each day. She also sent me pictures every day. My mind was completely at ease, and I knew she was in good, caring hands. THANK YOU so much.

Kimberly and her family went above and beyond while taking care of our pup today. Throughout his stay we were sent pictures of all the fun he was having. I really appreciated how attentive Kimberly was with him as this was our first time boarding. He literally FELL ASLEEP IN THE DRIVEWAY on the way out! Praise hands for a sleepy puppy! We will definitely be rebooking.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pup stays in our home and can come in and out of the fenced in area using our doggy door. We do tend to crate pups at night due to safety reasons for the dog as well as other clients. Pets

A typical day

During the time they are here we let them play with our own or other pups that come for daycare or boarding. We will play with various toys, usually one on one, to prevent any issues. From time to time we will go down to the river (1/2 mile from our home) for a hike or possible splash in the river.
