I understand that most animals need companionship when they are lonely. They want to feel loved and have their needs met while their humans are away. I’ve had a couple of senior dogs of my own before and have taken care of them daily by helping them outside to potty and being gentle with walks by going slower and giving them lots of chatty time and treats if they are allowed. Making sure they have access to clean water and food if being fed. I don’t mind cleaning up any accidents that may have happened before I arrived. We have had puppies a few times and know they need boundaries and lots of play time and affection to grow up and be happy sociable dogs. I love taking them on walks and teaching them to sit and stay. I’m also knowledgeable with feeding them and providing clean water and potty time as needed- also putting them back in their crates if they are crated. Dogs love to be talked to and brushed and petted and told how adorable they are every single day!
