I currently stay at home full time with my daughter so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to spend a lot of time with pups that stay over!

I try to follow your pups normal routine as closely as I can. Pups are welcome to all parts of our home as well as our fully fenced backyard where we spend a lot of time. I do ask that all pups that stay over be crate trained. They would only need to be crated if we leave our home for a short amount of time.

Information Kimberly R. would like to know about your pet
Because we have a 4 year old daughter we cannot accept any pups who have previously displayed any type of aggression. She is respectful of their personal space and knows boundaries, but we would prefer pups who have been around children and are not afraid of them. We have no breed preferences, we love all breeds! We just ask that pups be house trained, crate trained, and friendly.
A typical day
We can go on walks and will have plenty of playtime! We also love snuggling and can give plenty of affection to your pup if they’re comfortable with that.

Thanks for checking out our profile! I’m Kim and my husband is Brandon. We’re new to the Lockhart area and have a 4 year old daughter named Melody. I’m originally from Laredo, Tx and my husband was born and raised in Athens, Ga. We both grew up with a passion for animals and have been happy to find our calling. We offer sitting in our home. If you have any questions at all send me a message!

I always know Katie is in good hands. Thanks, Kimberly!
Kimberly did an outstanding job! It was plain to see that she is a dog lover. I truly belive my dogs had a better time with her than if I had been here. There was one instance where it was raining during her scheduled time and she volunteered to come later when the rain stopped so my two dogs could get fed and get their walk in. Kimberly is definitely on my list for the future

I recently used Rover for dog boarding while my wife and I were out of town on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our trip was planned last-minute, but thankfully we found Kimberly — truly a star sitter! She was incredibly responsive, which made everything so easy. We quickly arranged a meet-and-greet that instantly gave us confidence. Kimberly was flexible with our drop-off and pick-up times since our travel schedule wasn’t fully set, and we really appreciated that. Throughout our dog’s stay, she kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Seeing our boy happy, relaxed, and having a great time allowed us to enjoy a completely stress-free vacation. Despite the heavy rain in the Austin area that week, she kept him clean and comfortable the entire time — impressive! When we picked him up, he was in great spirits and clearly had been well cared for and loved by her and her family. I’m so grateful to them for treating him like one of their own. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. It felt personal and caring — not at all like dropping him off at a kennel. We will absolutely book with Kimberly again and will be using Rover for future travels.

Kimberly is great! Communicates extremely effectively!
