Kitties are my jam - I've had and taken care of cats for most of my life, including a handsome tuxedo kitty that lived to be 19 years old! Such curious creatures, I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and preferences to make them feel safe and cared for while their parents are away. As a cat mom myself, I like to read/listen about cat psychology, behavior, and even nutrition to be able to help them live their best life possible since they have given mine so much joy. One of my current girls has no teeth (as a result of caudal stomatitis) and a very sensitive stomach - it took some trial and error but seeing her thrive now was well worth it. I promise to give the same level of attention and care to your pet and to let you know if I observe anything that seems unusual. I've gotten pretty good at clipping nails and giving topical/oral meds and am familiar with cleaning up after accidents. I try to use my intuitive kitty whisperer skills and patience to connect with even the shyest of cats. As an animal rescue volunteer, I have also fostered kittens in my home - so much fun, even for my own cats.
