Lots of attention and love at the Love Shack. We also have a big screened in porch with a view of a large koi/swim pond and waterfall. So our guests can nap on the porch with a beautiful view of nature in safety or they can relax in a huge bay window in the sunlight watching the birds and squirrels. Lots of blankets, toys, and beds are right at hand. My husband and I work from home so we are here all the time with your fur babies. When going outside, everyone is wearing tags, collars and leashes whether going potty or just going for a long walk in the yard. No one is ever off leash or unsupervised outdoors. We do not have a fenced in yard but it is a very big yard and we have runs set up so they can be hooked up safety to roam - always under supervision. When we are in the kitchen we have plush furry beds for guests to hang out on while watching us cook. Then in the evenings, there is lots of lap time, cuddling, and kisses. Nightime is big fun, we all pile in our big king size bed to watch tv and have treats before bed. Guests can sleep however they prefer from sleeping on the couch, in a crate, at the foot of the bed, in their own bed in our bedroom floor, in our doggie playpen, or even in the bed with us and our yorkies. We work to accommodate our guest's needs and the owner's preference. For example we had a very small dog with serious cataracts and we didn't want any chance for her to fall off the bed. So we made her a bed in the doggie playpen and put it right by our bed so she was safe and secure but still not alone. The only treats I give are the ones you bring or if you approve, I also have organic baby carrots and organic "made in the USA" treats. Our drinking water is 5 stage reverse osmosis filtered so it is safe and yummy for your baby. I am very educated about home toxins, toxic plants, foods toxic to dogs, etc. We do not use any pesticides or poisons on the lawn or toxic chemicals on the floors or carpets. I also have experience caring for sick dogs, those recovering from surgery, older dogs, and dogs with vision problems. I will care for your fur baby with the same love, attention and care that I give my own three yorkies. We have a 5 lb yorkie Guinness (10yrs) that is the top napping partner, and a 4 lb yorkie Spooky that is 4yrs old and loves to run and play with his little brother Teenie Weenie who is 3lbs and 3yrs old. We also have a cat named Sookie Stackhouse. She is indoor/outdoor type so she usually stays outside more when we have guests they tend to want to chase her LOL. Two or three dogs at one time are ok if they are from the same family :) Sometimes I will accept more than that - depends on situation and calendar. June 2016 I completed certification for Pet Tech First Aid & CPR from Pet Tech the first international organization that teaches this certification. I re-certify every 2 years. Note for summer: we have a 30,000 koi pond that we swim in. if your pet would like to go swimming with us (100% supervised) tell him or her to bring a permission slip! LOL Also, even though we do not have a fenced yard . . we have a series of gates on the porches and inside the house that prevents bolters from running off. We also have leashed runs that we can hook them up to before they get to the yard so no escapes there. and when they are outdoors they are 100% supervised. I love all dogs, especially yorkies and chihuahau! I've recently expanded my profile to allow for sitting larger dogs. Some larger dogs are very calm and tender with the smaller breeds so I don't mind keeping them at all. If you have a larger breed we may request a meet and greet to make sure all the fur babies get along well. Our last name is Love. So our friends call our house "The Love Shack".
