Tail-wagging stays and strides

My journey with animals started early. Since I was a teenager, I’ve been the "go-to" sitter for my friends and family—I was even the only person my grandmother would trust with her dog, Pete! Growing up, my home was always a hub for pets, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and hamsters. Today, my Labrador is the heart of my home. My life is built around his well-being, and I believe a pet is a family member, not just a guest. Having raised two of my own Labs who both lived to 13, I also have a deep appreciation for the patience and gentleness that older dogs need. When your dog stays with us, they are welcomed into our daily life and treated with the same love and care I give my own. My Approach I offer Boarding in my home and Dog Walking for owners who want their pets to stay in a loving, active household rather than a kennel. The Power of Routine: I keep my own dog on a structured schedule and I’ll do the same for yours. My goal is to mirror the routine they have at your house—from specific meal times and walk intervals to their usual bedtime—so they feel right at home the moment they walk through my door. Senior Dog Experience: Having raised my own Labs through their senior years, I’m very comfortable with a slower pace, extra patience, and following basic medication schedules. Built-in Socialization: With my friendly Labrador here, your dog will have a consistent companion to spend their days with. They aren't just staying in a room; they are joining our family. Large Breed Confidence: As a Lab parent, I’m comfortable and confident handling larger, high-energy dogs. Small Mammal Savvy: I have years of experience with the specific habitat and dietary needs of guinea pigs and hamsters. Your "pocket pets" are always welcome here!

Kimberly was wonderful with my 2 yr old lab mix for an overnight stay! When I picked her up, she was very content and I could tell she was well cared for. She got along great with Kimberly’s dog, Kenobi-he’s extremely friendly and welcoming! I will definitely book with her again, as it was great to get updates and not have to worry.

I never have to worry about my dog when she is with Kimberly. She’s great about sending pictures and videos so that I can see how my dog is doing. My dog has never looked stressed in any of the pictures at Kimberly’s, and that is unusual for my tender hearted dog! I will continue using Kimberly as long as she’s available!!

Kimberly (and Kenobi) were a 10! Absolute perfection. She took such good care of Harper. Followed my instructions as given. She sent updates, pics and videos daily. Absolutely no complaints. Kenobi and Harper became buddies. He provided playtime and guidance for Harper as well. We have found our sitter for life. Give them a try. I promise no disappointment. Smiles only!

Kimberly is so kind and a great sitter! She sent us many updates and photos over our 4 day trip and our dog loved her, and he’s quite the handful of a dog!

Kimberly was great with my dog. I got updates daily with pictures. I can tell when my dog is stressed, and she didn’t appear stressed at all. All my instructions were followed, and medications given. I will use Kimberly again!

A typical day

I’m a big believer that an active dog is a happy dog. I make sure playtime is a daily priority, tailored to your pet's energy level. Supervised Backyard Play: I love getting outside with the dogs for a game of fetch or some fresh air. Since I’m always out there with them, I can keep a close eye on the fun and make sure everyone is playing safe. Summer Splash Zone: In the warmer months, I set up a small dog pool and water toys in the yard it’s the perfect "cool-down" spot for pups who love to splash! Park Access: We are lucky to have a great park right behind my home, which is perfect for varied scenery and extra-long walks. Toy Box Favorites: From tennis balls to tug-toys, I keep plenty of options on hand to keep your pup entertained and engaged.
