Safety, trust & environment

I care for every dog as if they were my own, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and a calm, structured environment. Each day begins with a peaceful morning walk, followed by light, positive training—either during the walk or shortly after—to reinforce good manners in a natural, low-pressure way. At home, dogs enjoy supervised playtime in a secure backyard, along with enrichment activities like slow feeder mats and treat-based games that encourage mental stimulation. In the warmer months, I set up gentle water play with our sprinkler or splash pad, often incorporating treats for a fun, confidence-building experience. I’m a firm believer in positive, reward-based methods and love incorporating small, practical skills like “leave it” or polite leash behavior into the day in a way that feels fun and engaging for your dog. You’ll receive daily photo updates and thoughtful check-ins, so you always feel connected and reassured while your pup is in my care. On my days off, I tailor activities to your dog’s needs—whether that’s a longer hike for an active, younger dog or a relaxed, enriching stroll for a senior. Above all, my priority is that your dog feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely at ease in a nurturing, well-managed environment.

A typical day

I provide a mentally stimulating activity called "sniff scavengers" where treats are hidden throughout a room for your baby to search and find. This engaging activity helps to exercise their senses and keep them mentally stimulated. Additionally, I offer twice-daily walks around the block, covering a distance of 0.8 miles each time. These walks provide exercise and fresh air for your baby, promoting their overall well-being. I frequently take trips to Keizer Rapids, a park with water, where I enjoy walking with pups. This scenic location offers a refreshing and enjoyable experience for your baby, allowing them to explore and interact with their surroundings.

Pet care experience

My background includes working with a service dog program, where I helped raise and develop exceptionally well-mannered, confident dogs. I specialize in positive, reward-based training, reinforcing calm behavior and creating a structured yet enjoyable experience for every dog in my care. As a professional groomer and salon owner, I’m highly attuned to canine body language, comfort, and overall well-being. I’m experienced with a wide range of temperaments—from energetic puppies to sensitive or senior dogs—and I handle each one with patience, skill, and intention. Above all, my top priority is that your dog feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I take the time to understand their personality, routines, and preferences so their experience feels calm, familiar, and even a little indulgent—like a true home-away-from-home. You can expect thoughtful communication, attentive care, and a refined, personalized approach every step of the way.

Kimberly and Meadow went far above and beyond for our pups. They were so pampered and loved. They made them so comfortable and accommodated unexpected issues with the dogs so smoothly. We received pictures and videos all the time of our dogs living their very best vacation life. We are so happy to have found these lovely humans to watch our fur babies and will 100% book them again! Highly recommend!! Thank you!!!

Wonderful host. I was provided with a tour of the home and the outside fenced play area. Kimberly was very accommodating and provided constant updates, pictures and videos. She went above and beyond and Bruno had a wonderful time. He absolutely loves Kimberly and will be going back again. I would highly recommend Kimberly to my friends and family. More than satisfied with the care provided while I was away on a work trip.

Hosts are very friendly and gave us a tour of where Fen will be during her stay. The place gave me cozy motel for dogs vibe. The outdoor area is nice and fenced in so we were not worried about Fen getting out. We received updates throughout the day with pictures. Fen was exhausted the next day and had a blast. Definitely give this place a try.
