I am a full-time teacher, so during the school year I only Rover on the weekends. I am available on Fridays around 4pm after school (just can’t specify that on this app!) During the summer months/ school holidays though, it’s game on! I’m wide open and happy to spend my breaks with your pup! ☀️🐶

My house has a small yard with a 6’ fence. We are lucky to be surrounded by tons of trails, open spaces and dog parks in Erie for our walks. We also have a doggy door, so if your pup hasn’t learned that one yet, they will be very proud to show you! 😆 My dogs no longer use crates so they just kind of hang while I’m home (and away). I’ve got a few Furbos to spy on everyone if I leave. 👀🐾🐾 Also, sleeping on couches/ beds is just fine here!

Information Kimberly K. would like to know about your pet
Know that we are a multiple dog Rover house, and your pup may have a few furry friends staying with us too. Especially with kids at home, I only host dogs that are friendly and a good fit together! Before we decide it’s a MATCH, the pups insist on a first date/ MEET AND GREET so you can see the place, engage in some first-date doggy small talk, and make sure it’s a good fit for you too! For their stay, pet parents should bring JUST the NECESSITIES - leash, food/ treats, bed/ blanket/ crate! You can leave the bowls and toys at home, since the hounds don’t mind sharing (and they will def bury yours under the deck!) 🦴😆
A typical day
My pups and I like to take long walkies around the trails and open spaces in Erie, and short hikes (for everyone’s short legs) in the mountains. We also spend a lot of time at the two off leash dog parks very near my house (Great Bark in Lafayette and Boneyard in Erie), so if you are comfortable with that and your pup wants to tag along, Jane and Wilbur would love to show them their favorite sniff spots! LMK!

Pet care experience
👋🏻! I’m Kim - a high school teacher, human mom, dog foster, and dog mom, and I’ve been shnuggling dogs (and cats, horses, hamsters, bunnies, and probably fish 🤪) of all breeds, and ages since the 1900s. Dogs especially have always been part of my family, and I really try to make your pup feel that way when they visit too!🩷🐶 My personal Paw Patrol is led by the loves of my life, Wilbur (a grunty low rider basset mix), and Jane (the world’s sweetest “foster fail” who showed up one day and never left). These chill pups now live a hard life of walkies, 45 naps a day, BarkBox subscriptions I can’t afford, and as many scratchels and kissies as I can give! Between these two and an occasional foster dog, plus Rovering all of the BEST pups in Erie, I like to think I’ve tummy scratched and wet nose-kissed the bestest booooys and sweetest puppygirls around.🐾❤️ That is all to say I get it. I Rover my own dogs and have boarded them at several places in the area. I want your dog to feel very loved when you’re gone and want you to feel confident they’re in safe hands while you’re away! I will send lots of photos and videos and do my best to meet your dog’s needs, including helping them FaceTime you, watching (and crying) over dog rescue TikToks with them, or wrapping them up in a doggy burrito blanket while singing lullabies to make sure they know “who’s a good booooooy” til they fall asleep. 🩵 *MOST IMPORTANTLY* I do have a four year at home (obvi! Paw Patrol is on a roll!), so YOUR PUP MUST BE GOOD WITH TINY HUMANS TOO. He loves dogs to pieces, knows how to have gentle hands, and I am careful to watch him, but… he is still 4 and learning. 🙃
Reviews

So glad we could find a wonderful, loving dog sitter nearby! Kimberly shared photos and updates daily while our dog was in her care. It felt relieving knowing our dog was in great hands. We'll be using her again!
Kimberly did great with our dogs and gave them plenty of exercise and interaction!

This is our second time using Kim and we just love her so much! She goes above and beyond taking care of our dog Gypsy and sends daily updates and photos. I know Gypsy has a wonderful time there and comes a very happy and content pup.

Kim was wonderful. She accommodated some funky drop-off and pick-up times, and the space was great for pups. Very attentive, and Walter had a great time!
