Pet Care When You Can't Be There

Caring for dogs has been a big part of my life for the past 20 years. This year I lost both of my fur babies, one due to cancer and the other due to old age and mobility issues. My love and compassion for animals will continue on and hopefully allow me to help others with their petcare needs. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life—from playful puppies who need patience, structure, and lots of attention to senior dogs who need extra comfort, care, and understanding. 🐶 Caring for puppies and helping them adjust to routines and new environments 🦴 Providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs 🐕 Handling both small and large breeds 🏡 Maintaining feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines as instructed ❤️ Providing plenty of companionship, affection, playtime, and one-on-one attention 👀 Closely monitoring pets for changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or overall well-being 🐾 Following each pet parent's instructions and keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible 😊 Understanding that some dogs are energetic and playful while others are shy, anxious, or need a little extra patience

I’m available for pet care during evenings and weekends, and I can often adapt to other schedules when needed with advance notice. I understand that every pet and pet parent has different scheduling needs, so I do my best to be flexible and dependable. Safety, trust & environment

🐾 Safety, Trust & Environment I provide attentive, dependable care tailored to each pet’s individual needs, routines, and comfort level. Before beginning care, I take time to learn about your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, behavior, favorite activities, and any special instructions. I follow your directions carefully and maintain familiar routines whenever possible to help your pet feel safe and relaxed. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I supervise pets closely, use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, check doors and gates before leaving, and keep potentially harmful items out of reach. I also pay attention to weather conditions, your pet’s energy level, and any signs of stress, illness, or discomfort. If I notice anything unusual, I will contact you promptly and follow your preferred emergency instructions. I understand that welcoming a pet sitter into your home requires trust. I treat every home with care and respect, follow household guidelines, and keep your pet’s environment clean and comfortable. I provide regular updates, including messages and photos when requested, so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you are away.

Let me know if your dog(s) have any special needs, allergies, dietary restrictions, or other medical concerns. Additionally, please alert me if there is any food aggression or triggered behaviors to be aware of such as thunderstorms, fireworks, or other loud noises. My dog was extremely sensitive to storms and fireworks and was on medication to assist with those as needed, so I have years of experience in handling these type of situations.
