Pet care experience

House of Paws

Hello, My name is Kim!
I bring 7+ years of Rover experience and a lifetime of personal pet care to every dog and cat I meet. Animals have always been part of my world, and caring for them comes naturally to me. From energetic puppies to sweet seniors, I’m experienced with all ages, breeds, and personalities. I’m also a mom of 4 kiddos (ages 2, 4, 11, and 14), so my home is full of love, structure, and activity—perfect for dogs who enjoy a family environment. We have 4 dogs of our own, all friendly and well-socialized, so your pet will never feel lonely or bored!

This was our second time that Kimberly checked in on our boys. She is so friendly, communicative and always sends sweet photos! She has gone above and beyond to care for our furbabies.

My dog is strictly indoors. When I picked her up she smelled really bad and her toy and bowls were totally filthy as if she had been outside the whole time. Terrible smell has permeated her bowls and I can’t get it out. I got some picture updates and she looked hot and was panting from the heat. Was referred by someone I know. I will not be taking my sweet pup back to this location.

Safety, trust & environment

‼️ Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I maintain a structured, family-friendly environment that keeps all pets happy, secure, and respected. 🐶 Requirements for Boarding: ✅ Dogs must be kennel trained. This ensures safe rest time, meal time, and structure throughout their stay. ✅ Males over 6 months must be fixed. This helps maintain a calm, safe environment for all pets. ✅ Must be friendly and patient with young children. ✅ Must be dog-friendly. I have 4 well-socialized dogs of my own, and all visiting pets should get along with others. ✅ Must be peaceful and respectful of neighbors. Excessive barking or reactive behaviors may not be a good fit, as I prioritize a calm environment for everyone’s safety. ✅ Pups must have their rabies vaccine. Proof of vaccination is required for everyone’s safety. 🏠 My Home Environment: ☑️ Large, fully fenced backyard for playtime, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor fun. ☑️ Secure kennel spaces for resting, feeding, and maintaining routine. ☑️ Pets are monitored throughout the day while I’m in and out, with safety always kept first. 📱 Communication & Trust: You’ll receive updates and photos daily because I know how important it is to feel connected to your pet while you're away. I provide honest communication so you always know how your dog is doing.

Pets

A typical day

☀️ A typical day here is full of structure, comfort, and fun—designed to meet each dog’s needs and personality. ✔️ Socialization & Enrichment: Your pup will get plenty of safe socialization with my kids and with other dogs of similar size and temperament. I make sure all interactions are positive and supervised so every dog feels comfortable and secure. ✔️ Activity Based on Energy Level: Low-energy dogs enjoy cozy cuddle time, naps, and gentle affection throughout the day. High-energy dogs get more playtime. ✔️ Fun & Play: Fetch, tug, and enrichment games to keep their minds and bodies active Water play in the warmer months Walks for pups who enjoy them and are leash-trained (walks must be requested by the owner) ✔️ Routine & Comfort: Between play sessions, dogs enjoy downtime, meals, and cozy kennel breaks to help them feel secure. My home has a steady rhythm that gives dogs both the activity and relaxation they need. ♥️ Every pet in my care gets love, attention, and a day that feels just like home—only with more fun!
