Highlights
Pet care experience
Big or small, I care for them all.
I offer walks as long as dog requires, play time with toys for stimulation, training with treats, light grooming such as bathing and brushing, medication distribution for sick or elder dogs, and lots of love for every dog. I was raised with dogs since I was an infant and have lived in a dog filled community my whole life. I'm responsible, reliable, and have a great deal of flexibility to be able tend to your 4 legged companion. Big or small I walk and care for them all. I'm experienced in pack walking as well as I have been raised with multiple dogs in the household. I will make sure your dog is exercised, happy, clean and comfortable while waiting for their owner.

Kimberly was great, she handled Kobe really well. Her place is also perfect for dogs with a big backyard for dogs to roam around. You can tell right away that Kimberly loves dogs as Kobe felt right at home with her. Thanks again Kimberly for taking good care of Kobe!

Wonderful!

I highly recommend Kimberly! She takes wonderful care of my dog, Blue, and always goes above and beyond. She sends great updates and pictures, which give me peace of mind while I’m away. Kimberly is reliable, caring, and clearly loves what she does. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet.

Kimberly is a great dog walker. My dog blue loves her

Kim was amazing with my new puppy Sherman! She was communicative and also provided helpful tips. She even taught him a new trick! Sherman also really enjoyed playing with Joey! So happy to have found them both!

We were on vacation to Santa Monica with our 3 year old German Shepherd, Zeus. Unexpectedly, he developed separation anxiety and couldn’t be left alone in our AirBnB. To say I’m a “helicopter Mom” would be an understatement. Naturally, I was beyond worried about finding a safe spot for him in an unknown town. I am soooo happy we found Kimi. On our very first visit, I felt confident he was in good hands (no easy feat) and we left him on the spot. Zeus had a great week+ with her and her sweet family. He had long interesting walks, played in the backyard and met some new puppy friends. He was always tired and relaxed when we picked him up in the evenings - if you have a GSD, you know how rare this is. Kimi has an inherent understanding of dogs and completely knew what to expect from this breed. I genuinely felt Zeus was as loved as he would have been with us, which is saying a lot. I think he would agree. Highly, highly recommend this sitter.

Schedule
I have an extremely flexible schedule. Take pets day and night, and do daycare and boarding. Last minute or scheduled stays are all welcome. Very animal friendly property. I surround my day and life with animals as much I can since animals have been my calling in life. I'm very good with animals. Shockingly good in fact. Whether training or bringing them out of their shell, I magically do it.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a house with a fully fenced in yard that dogs can stretch their legs, get their Zoomies out or just lay around in the sunny yard if they want. I offer crates if needed but typically this is a crate free environment. Animals are allowed on all the furniture beds including and they will be spoiled with treats ( according to their owners approval first ) and as many toys as they could ever imagine. They also will have companionship with my dog Joey whose very excited to meet new friends all the time. In the care setting of another person's home, I fallow all and any instructions I'm given, and respect any rules or guidelines pertaining to off limits/restrictions their pets may have. I also stick to any strict training routines or daily scheduling owners may have for their pets. I only fallow Dr.'s orders when giving medication or engaging in medical situations. As for older pets, diabetic pets, Injured or disabled pets I require a list of emergency vets or hospitals to contact incase of any issues that may arise that are definitively out of my scope of care abilities or at anytime I need a more knowledgeable and qualified medical professional to step in. I also require up to date records of vaccines & vet care as well as records of previous boardings, boardings in kennels, or shelters to be shown before any boarding or daycare takes place in my home. This is for all our pets safety and well-being, therefore this is a mandatory, no exceptions requirement before a booking is accepted. Owners must have A copy or can email records of pets active flea treatment plan/prescription (ex. Chewy, Petco, petmeds etc) or flea prevention (last) dosing schedule. This also is a requirement. Only exceptions are if owners get their pet(s)treatment the day of drop off or if they have me purchase (at owners expense) and or administer treatment myself.) My dog Joey is highly allergic to fleas as am I.
Pets
A typical day
I'm always willing to go as far as the dogs willing/able. Love to go to a park if it's near by in the time I have the dog. Dogs will stay on leash at all times though. I am VERY good with handling dogs, have a keen insight and experience in dog behaviors and body language. I always have either a stuffing free toy, a ball, or squeaky toy with me as well for the toy motivated ones. I ALWAYS have water and a bowl for mid walk breaks no matter the length. Especially if it's hot out. But not too hot that their pads could get burned. I always say if it's too hot for your feet, it's too dangerous for theirs. If it's too hot, my shaded yard is the perfect run/roam/bathroom break spot. I have a shaded canopy area lots of vegetation shaded areas, chuck it toys, frisbees, or plain old toys. Again it's a fully enclosed yard on a very spacious property, not a condo or apartment.
