While providing care in your home, I will treat it with the utmost care and respect. I have experience as a home care nurse, in addition to years of pet sitting in stranger's homes. I will follow your instructions to a T and leave everything cleaner than I found it! In addition, I am a homeowner myself and it's second nature to keep an eye out for potential issues (leaks, packages outside, notices, etc). I'm happy to provide any basic housesitting tasks (water plants, check mail, basic cleaning, etc) at no extra charge. For bigger tasks or deeper cleaning, ask me about an add-on charge!

I would like to know anything helpful for your specific pup! Daily routines, favorite treats, play vs cuddle time, etc. I do have a soft spot for huge breeds but I love them all, big or small!!
A typical day
This will completely depend on what your pet likes! Pets are as individual as we are. Want to go for a long walk and play fetch to get all that energy out? Let's do it! Want a play buddy? Let's do it. Got an older pup where sleep is more their speed? I'm ready to watch dog TV and cuddle up on the couch. I can brush, pet, play, or walk however your pup desires. I am comfortable with almost any meds or special treatment your dog may have.

Hi, I’m Kim! I’m a registered nurse. Right now, I’m taking a break from bedside nursing and am doing private-duty homecare. The change of pace from the ICU has left me with more availability for pet sitting, which I've done part-time since I was a teenager. I've always had a passion for animals so getting to balance pet sitting and nursing has been a dream come true. I’ve have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I grew up with a whole crew of animals—dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish. Now, I have two big dogs (a black lab mix and a Great Pyrenees mix) and a big fat orange cat of my own. I have experience giving subcutaneous injections (ie insulin) and liquid/pill oral meds to both cats and dogs. Being a nurse, I’m comfortable with understanding your pet's specific medical needs & care, including administering medications and providing post-op checkups/care. I am dedicated to making sure your pet gets the same level of care and attention I give my own. No two pet sits are ever the same. Whether your pet needs long walks, intense exercise, belly rubs, or just a buddy to hang out with, I’m down! I am reliable, experienced, and flexible. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

She took great care of our dogs and sent lots of pictures and updates the whole weekend. One of my dogs is a senior and takes a few meds and the other is still a young puppy and they both got the care they needed.
My dog had such a great time for day care at Kim’s place! He had fun exploring the fenced yard, playing with the resident dogs, and napping on the doggie bed. We could tell that Kim and her family treated Cash as if he were their own. It was so nice to be able to rely on them knowing that Cash was well cared for. 🙂
