I have over 15 years of experience pet sitting for family and friends. I’ve stayed overnight with senior dogs who need strict medical care and I’ve also helped medically foster newborn kittens with severe infections from my local animal shelter. I love all animals— so much so that I left my previous office job to work at a dog daycare for about 3 years. I can orchestrate play groups between dogs and provide spa services (down to blueberry facials!). I’ve worked with hundreds of dogs in my time working at dog day care and I know basic first aid for dogs. However, I’m not just a dog person— I also have 8 cats! 3 of them were my previous medical fosters! I’m in the process of earning my pet CPR license as well. I’m great at matching pets' energy, be it puppies and kittens to old furry friends. You could say I'm an animal's best friend! I wanted to take a moment to recognize someone truly special Kimberly, who cares for the animals. Her dedication, patience, and genuine love for the dogs do not go unnoticed. Every time I see her interacting with the animals, it’s clear that she treats each one as if they were her own. That kind of compassion and attentiveness is something very rare and incredibly valuable in a place that cares for our beloved pets. Kimberly goes above and beyond to ensure the dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Her work ethic, kindness, and natural ability with animals truly stand out. Even though she may not be the owner, she carries herself with the professionalism and leadership of someone who could easily be in a managerial role. It would be amazing to see more people in this field embody the same level of care and dedication she shows every day. She is a wonderful example of what excellent animal care looks like.
