Pet care experience

A fulfilled dog is a happy dog

✨ Every dog deserves to come home happy, relaxed, and fulfilled. I provide structured, active care tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, personality, and individual needs—with plenty of exercise, enrichment, attention, and time to decompress. 🏡 I’m a full-time work-from-home engineer with a flexible schedule, and I’ve spent 15+ years caring for and training dogs. My husband and I live on 4 acres with trails right outside our backyard, giving dogs plenty of opportunities to explore, sniff, run, and enjoy the outdoors. 🐶 My goal isn’t simply to keep your dog occupied while you’re away—it’s to give them a great day. Puppies can build confidence through socialization and predictable routines. Energetic adolescents can channel their energy into exercise, enrichment, and training. Seniors can enjoy gentle walks, sniffing, relaxation, and plenty of one-on-one attention. ☀️ Depending on your dog’s needs, adventures may include swimming, running, biking, neighborhood walks, exploring trails, or discovering new places. Social dogs can enjoy appropriate time with other friendly dogs, while dogs who prefer their own space receive individual activities and attention. 🥱 I also believe that rest is just as important as activity. Dogs have a structured balance of exercise, enrichment, and decompression time so they aren’t simply running all day. This helps them settle, relax, and return home happy and tired—not overstimulated. 📸 Throughout your dog’s stay, I’ll keep you updated with daily photos and a summary of what we’ve been up to. Every dog is different, so I’ll work with you to understand their routine, preferences, and needs before their stay. 🐕 If you’re looking for more than traditional boarding or daycare—especially for an energetic, young, adventurous, or training-minded dog—I’d love to meet you and see if we’re a good fit!

Had a great boarding experience with Kimberlie! She was very communicative and personable, and clearly loves dogs. She sent photos and updates of my pup’s stay. Would recommend and absolutely use her as a pup sitter again!

We’re so grateful Kimberlie was able to help us out last minute with an overnight stay! She took wonderful care of our energetic Husky and kept him active, happy, and safe. From our very first meeting, it was clear that she was comfortable and confident around dogs and knew exactly how to handle his energy. She has a great personality, was easy to communicate with, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We would definitely recommend her and will happily book with her again!

Kim sent me multiple photos of my puppy while we were away and I knew he was in great hands. She took him to the park, ran him around the yard and played with other dog friends. Very professional and knowledgeable. We will be using her again for boarding.

Would not recommend. The sitter wasn’t transparent about having other pets in the home and told me she didn’t think it was relevant to disclose. The final cost ended up much higher than expected because of added fees. When I had to end the booking after only a few hours, there was essentially no flexibility on the refund. Instead of considering the circumstances, I was told the policy exists to protect the provider’s finances. Overall, I found the experience overpriced, inflexible, and lacking transparency.

Working from home, I typically have a meeting or two per day and set my own schedule. The dogs are welcome to hangout in my office during calls, otherwise we’re typically outside playing, training or exercising.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always my first priority. Dogs enjoy a clean, secure home environment with a fenced yard, supervised outdoor time, and structured rest. I carefully manage interactions between dogs and provide individual attention or separate spaces when needed. I’m experienced with administering medications and following detailed care instructions to keep your dog’s routine consistent.

A typical day

I like to start the day with exercise for me and the dog(s). Late morning and early afternoon are rest times while I work from home, followed by enrichment in the afternoon (scent work, basic training, problem solving, free sniff time). Evenings, we eat, play outside and wind down.

All dogs need to be comfortable resting in a crate for a portion of the afternoon. This gives dogs a predictable opportunity to decompress and relax between activities. I have experience with puppies, dogs with separation anxiety, reactivity and high energy working breeds. Let me know your dog’s specific needs and I’ll let you know if we’re a good fit.
