I currently work remotely with flexible hours, which allows me to easily adapt my schedule around each pet's individual needs and their owner's routine. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so I prioritise maintaining their normal feeding times, walks, medication schedules and daily habits wherever possible. My flexible routine means I can provide plenty of companionship, regular check-ins and attentive care rather than fitting pets around a rigid schedule. I enjoy creating a calm, predictable environment where pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away.

Whether caring for pets in their own home or taking them out for walks, my priority is always creating a safe, calm and comfortable experience that matches their normal routine. When pet sitting or providing day care, I treat each owner's home with the same respect I would expect someone to show my own. I take care to follow household rules, keep spaces clean and tidy, and ensure pets have access to everything they need while maintaining their usual feeding, medication and exercise routines. Before caring for any pet, I take the time to learn their personality, habits, triggers and individual needs. This is especially important for nervous pets, senior animals, pets with medical needs or those who simply prefer their own space. I believe trust is earned through patience, consistency and respecting each animal's boundaries. For dog walks, I prioritise safe handling, appropriate routes, and walks suited to each dog's age, breed, fitness level and temperament. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and understand the importance of keeping them secure, happy and stimulated. Clear communication is also important to me, so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, cared for and treated as individuals while they are away.

I've been professionally pet and house sitting since I was 17 years old and have spent over 15 years caring for animals with a wide range of personalities, breeds and needs. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses, animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my parents still joke that I was partly raised by our family Rottweiler because of my natural connection with animals. Over the years I've cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments - from energetic Bull Terriers and gentle Great Danes to brachycephalic breeds such as Pugs and French Bulldogs that require extra attention. I also have experience with senior pets, diabetic pets, disabled pets and animals with ongoing medical needs, ensuring routines, medications and care instructions are followed carefully. My approach is centred around keeping pets happy, comfortable and stress-free by maintaining their normal routines, understanding their individual personalities and giving them the care and attention they need while you're away. I believe caring for your home is part of caring for your pets. I treat every home with respect, keeping spaces clean and tidy while providing reliable communication and peace of mind. My profile photos may not be award-winning, but I'd like to think my pet care is. I take pride in providing dependable, compassionate care, and I'm honoured that so many owners have trusted me with both their beloved pets and their homes over the years.

I can't recommend Kim highly enough! She looked after my two indoor cats, Momo and Hailey, while I was away, and I was incredibly impressed. Hailey is usually quite skittish around new people, but after meeting Kim, I had no concerns at all. Her calm, caring nature and professionalism immediately put both me and my cats at ease. From our initial interview, Kim was reassuring, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure Momo and Hailey were comfortable and well cared for. Knowing they were in such capable hands gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Kim treated my cats with patience, kindness, and genuine affection. I wouldn't hesitate to trust her with their care again and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professional pet sitter.
My pets have had Kim look after them for almost 10 years! Kim is thoughtful, down to earth, and a lover of all creatures! As a former petsitter myself, I know how big a responsibility it is to care for pets who are not your own - Kim ticks all the boxes, and some! My covid-puppy is now almost 7, and due to him having so much company for his first years of life, leaving him alone for hours on end would simply put too much stress on him and I! Kim provided me with the peace of mind I needed to be able to enjoy my human life while my furbaby was safe at home. My mum's old doggy also lives with us, and he knows if Kim is there, cuddles are a definite! She also cared for my 3 cats before they passed over the rainbow bridge - one of whom was a skittish and very shy rescue cat, Kim allowed her gentle patience and eventually, little Cece would come out to greet her when she visited!
