Certified Canine Coach

I work at a dog daycare part time where we have the best day ever everyday. Therefore, I'll probably negotiate drop-off times but we will figure it out at no extra charge. My housemate works from home and helps out while I work for 4 hours a day. At my part time daycare job we do basic training and play fun games while getting the exercise they need I live in a house with a back yard so your pup will receive plenty of sniff time. There is also a waking trail 5 minutes away that I go to regularly and my rover pups always look forward to our car drive there Being a canine coach I love to excercise your pups nose with enrichment feedings, sniff games and basic training. I do offer a basic spa services at an extra cost. Add a bath to your pups stay and it will include a bath, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning and a nail trim.

Kim was the absolute best!! Lexi had such a great time staying at Kim’s house and loved the huge backyard. Kim provided updates and pictures throughout the stay and was very responsive! Will definitely book Kim again soon!

We had a great experience with Kim. We felt comfort knowing he was in good hands! Sammy came home tired and happy. He is very comfortable in her home and with her.

We always feel comfortable leaving our sweet pup with Kim, who takes great care of him and keeps us updated constantly whike he's at her house. It really puts us at ease to know he's so well loved while away from us!

Amazing! The dogs had a big yard to run around in and I could tell they were well taken care of and happy. Kim sent lots of photos and updates of them playing and having a good time. Best sitter we have found on Rover to date!!!

Lympia loves to come to Kim’s because she gets real exercise and love. She doesn’t even bother to say goodbye! She just runs into Kim’s house. I highly recommend her as she also is very trained in dog care.

Kim was great! I had a very chaotic weekend and she was so flexible with me and it really took a weight off my shoulders, as well as knowing my baby was in good care!

Schedule

They will be mentally stimulated at all times. I have a big fensed in back yard and my property is 12 000 square feet. They will have plenty of activity throughout the day and they also get an extra late night potty break between 10 and 11pm. I keep them mentally stimulated with pet safe bubbles, hide and seek, we practice door manners, enrichment feedings, YouTube for dogs, Disney piano music, obedience(sit,stay,down..etc), social interaction etc. I have scheduled rest times to keep their day balanced. Rest time is from 1 to 2pm and straight after meal time

Safety, trust & environment

I fit my rover pups into my daily routine, I make sure they are taken care of first before getting anything done. Their needs always comes first, for example, if I need to run an errand in the morning then I will first make sure my rover dogs have had a potty break, breakfast, rest time for their food to settle and then taken out for a walk beforehand. Safety is very important, I make sure doors are locked at all times and I fit their collars properly or use my own to make sure no escapes happen

A typical day

I have many toys for the back yard, indoors I have a bubble machine, I play sniff games throughout the house, I do 'find it' games, we practice door manners, place training, basic obedience, I always have dog YouTube playing or relaxing piano music,

Kim can host up to 5 pets per night
Let me know if your pup or pet has any schedule they follow, preferences, basic commands or phases they are familiar with, what time do they wake up, do they have allergies, are they crate trained or do they have a bed time, do they need to see a person when sleeping(it's fine if they do), can they open people doors, do they have separation anxiety, and are they spayed or neutered(I do take more than one booking at a time, the only time I'll accept a pup thats not spayed or neutered is if it's a puppy below 7 months). Keep in mind that a pup that's not spayed or neutered can lead to unwanted mounting or marking in the house when around other dogs even if they don't do it at home. If your pup has kennel cough or is still recovering then they should be home for at least 2 weeks and should not show any symptoms by the booking start date so as to not pass it on to another pup
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
