Pet care experience
Gentle, Caring Animal Lover & Nurse
I’ve spent a lot of time around animals and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve pet sat a sweet, shy cat before and did well keeping her comfortable and clean, including regular litter box cleaning and feeding. I also lived with a dog and loved taking him on walks and spending time with him—my gentle nature helped us bond quickly. Friends often comment on how calm and kind I am with their pets, whether I’m just visiting or spending extended time with them. I’m also a nurse, so I’m used to providing attentive, reliable care—and that extends to animals, too. I genuinely love being around pets and treat them with patience, love, and respect.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Kim did a great job walking Eilidh! She was kind to my pup, friendly, easy to communicate with, and arrived on time. I would use her again if I ever have the need.

Kim is one of the most caring and dependable people I know. She is a nurse, so you already know she’s super responsible and does well with the care of others. Kim does well around my cats and loves to give them all the pets. Your pets would be in great hands with Kim!
I have always known Kim to be an animal lover. She has great compassion and will do anything in her power to care for her animal. She has taken care of cats before in her own home and thoroughly cleaned and cat-proofed her living space to provide the best environment possible for her temporary furry friend. Before getting into cat-sitting, Kim thoroughly researched all things relating to cat ownership to make sure she provides the best care. She follows instructions to a T and will feed/walk the animal to the owner’s preferences. Kim is responsible and diligent in all aspects of her life, and these qualities extend to animal care.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I have a flexible schedule since I’m in between nursing jobs, which gives me lots of time to focus on pet care. I’m available most days for dog walking, drop-ins, or pet sitting. As I return to work in nursing, I still plan to continue pet sitting and walking.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I follow the pet owner's instructions, especially when it comes to feeding schedules, portion sizes, and keeping water bowls full and clean. I make sure the environment is safe, calm, and free of clutter. My home is pet-friendly and quiet, with no other animals around—so it's a good space for pets who might be shy, anxious, or prefer one-on-one attention.
A typical day
Walk around the neighborhood, play with the pet's toys, watch television, listen to music but make sure it's not overstimulating, cuddles, make sure to keep owner updated on anything
