Currently I am able to do all sort of sits both day and overnight as I’m dedicating the majority of my time to pet care. I can accommodate all kinds of schedules as I am quite flexible when not booked.

When I am in your home I will be dedicated to your pets’s safety and well-being, I am no stranger to a stubborn pets as I have three kitties. Two who love me to bits and one who only wants attention on his terms. If your pet is skittish I will do my best to give you updates on them without invading their personal bubble. If your pet is loving and friendly I will give them lots of belly rubs and head scratches. I am not the type of person to just come in, top up their bowls and leave. I do care about animals and I will do what I can to make sure they have a great time while their hooman is away. I will read their body language and respect them without being pushy.

If there are any special requests such as dietary restrictions please let me know. I will not give or bring anything of my own into your home if you do not want me to. My number one concern is the well being of your pet. I want to have your permission before I do anything additional to make your friend have a pleasant time while you are away.
A typical day
I am more than happy to bring some pet toys like my home grown catnip to share with your feline friend. I love playing and interacting with cats and will read their body language to see if they want to continue playing or rather back off and give them their space so they do not become over stimulated. I’m happy to give them treats or special treatment as long as it is ok with you. Dogs I will respect their spaces and try my best to give them the right amount of attention based on their body language.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs for over 12 years, dog sitting for friends and family. In the past several years I have cat sit dozens of cats and dogs as well as the occasional reptile here or there. I have several bearded dragons and leopard geckos so if you happen to have a reptile I am no stranger to feeding live to them. Lizard sitting was my professional introduction to pet care. I also keep invertebrates (isopods + bugs) as pets so if that is a needed care for I’m your guy I offer continuous care at a starting rate of $100 per night. Continuous care is considered 12h+ in your home during the day time and the default rate for housing sitting does not reflect continuous care*

Kim is a lifesaver. She watched our dog while we were out of state for a couple nights- providing plenty of updates and pictures. However, when our flight home was canceled, Kim was willing to stay an extra two nights. Much appreciated!

I was impressed with Kim! From day one, the cats bonded with her, which is unusual, especially when meeting someone new. She went above and beyond doing what was asked, including crushing pills, giving them attention if they wanted it and opening the door so they could get some fresh air and sun through the screen. By the third day they were following her around the house. She's light on her feet and very patient with them. To add perspective, when my adult children come home, the cats hide, even though two of the cats grew up with the kids. Before the week was over, I had already booked her for several other times this summer!
