I’m a lover of all animals, but dogs have always had my heart. There is nothing quite like the joy that comes with being surrounded by dogs. Their instantaneous affection, contagious happiness, and unique personalities make me so excited to interact with any dog that I cross paths with. I love my job as a special education teacher, but I have always wanted to work with dogs in some capacity, too. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life & understand that beyond their basic needs being met, what they really need is a whole lot of love, and humans who are willing to take on their abundance of love, as well. I hope to make lots of new furry friends on here and give them so much love!!

Kim has watched my 9 year old golden retriever, Nala, multiple times over the past few years. Kim is very reliable and detailed oriented when it comes to scheduling. Nala can have some separation anxiety and be very needy. Kim did an exceptional job with making Nala feel secure, safe and loved while she watched her. She walked Nala daily, played with her, and of course gave her lots of love and cuddles. Kim kept me updated with photos throughout her time with Nala so I was able to see how my pup was doing. Nala gets so excited when she sees Kim which makes me feel at ease when I have to go out of town. I will definitely have Kim continue to watch Nala for me.

Schedule
I have a full-time teaching job, so during the school year I am available on nights (after 4pm) and weekends. Over the summer and during holiday breaks, my schedule is much more flexible!

Safety, trust & environment
I have two dogs that currently live at my parent’s house and come to stay with my every few weeks. This arrangement began when I got my dogs in college and could not keep them in my apartment, and we have found that it works best for them since I am gone most of the day for work. That said, my home is open and animal-free for any pet stays. We have a walkable neighborhood with friendly neighbors and fellow dogs. I also have experience dog-sitting at the dog’s home for those who do better with keeping their usual routine.
