I want your dog to be comfortable and have a great time staying with us! Beds, kennels and favorite toys are welcomed and encouraged, so that they have a little piece of home to bring with them! Our pups love the dog park, and if you'd like, we are happy to take them there to play, but only with your permission! Our fenced yard is like a big dog park, and our guests love to run and play! I want to focus on providing the best possible care for your pet, and give them all the attention they deserve, and avoid any potential issues with other boarders. I therefore will ask for a "meet and greet" before bookings, to insure that not only will your pup fit in with our "pack," but any other potential guests. Our house will be their home as long as they are with us, and I want them to have the very best time while you are away!

We love taking our dogs around the neighborhood- we live very near to Tiedman's and Stricker's ponds, and walk there with our pups daily! My permanent residents, Wiggles and Stubby, love other dogs, too! They are playful and sweet, and have made wonderful "foster brothers" to the dogs that we rescue! Although I am involved in dog rescue as a foster, I have chosen to not have fosters at the same time as our canine guests. My kiddos, ages 13 and 15, also love dogs and are so very helpful in providing playtime, snuggles, and occasionally, clean up! My cat, Pickles, loves my dogs, but if you're dog is reactive around cats, that's ok- we have plenty of space just for her, and she has learned from being around foster dogs where her happy safe space is!
