We have used Kim several times and always had a great experience. She keeps us up to date on our Winston’s activities in very creative and entertaining ways. Win feels st home and part of the “pack” whenever he is there. We had a delay in our return, and Kim was able to accommodate our needs. Thanks!!

I am so incredibly grateful for Kim! She went above and beyond over the past few months to make sure Tuck was cared for as I trained, and when I went off to become an Ironman for the 3rd time! She took one huge concern off of me, so I could focus. And, Tuck loved it at Kim and Dan's house so much, I never worry. He is in the best of hands.

It was such a pleasure to be able to help and care for Funchie while you trained and became Ironman!

Kim's Canine Care!

* A MEET N GREET IS A REQUIREMENT BEFORE I CAN CARE FOR YOUR PUP. IT'S IN THE BEST INTEREST OF ALL. ALSO IF I AM CARING FOR A PUP ALREADY, I'M RARELY ABLE TO DO MEET N GREETS AS I WANT TO GIVE YOU MY FULL ATTENTION. THANK YOU!

I'm a Dog Mom of 1 and also a published Children's Author so I make my own hours and work from home. My schedule allows me ...

What Kim would like to know about your dog

Please let me know everything that makes your dog happy to make his/her stay in our home feel just like the comfort of your home . It's very important for me to know what your pup's personality is like at home from your perspective (and also if he/she has stayed with other people). I get to see some of that during Part 2 of my Meet n Greet process, when I invite you to my home (after we've first met at the chosen neutral location). I encourage you to share anything and everything about your pup and his/her daily routine; eating habits, potty schedule, snacks you allow, bedtime routine and where he/she sleeps and fears (thunder/fireworks-and what you do if they are afraid). For example, if your dog sleeps in your bed at your home, he/she can do the same in our home. Let me know favorite treats, toys, how many walks a day, and the times during the day your pet enjoys the most interaction with others and /or quiet time. Please also mention if your dog is especially sensitive to hot or cold temperatures . For example, as a Yorkie Mom, I am very aware of hot/cold sensitivity in her breed and therefore am conscientious of time spent outdoors in certain weather conditions . Also, please provide me with your pet's food and feeding schedule. During our Meet n Greet, I will tell you about the list that I share with my Guests for you to fill out with pertinent information for me. Please let me know if your dog is able to have the treats I give my little girl, which can include raw carrots, peeled apple, fresh green beans, and my homemade grain and egg free peanut butter pumpkin cookies (I use almond flour), fresh peanut butter, and frozen peanut butter Kongs. If your dog had his/her own treats, I will make sure they get them. Please let me know if your pet has any allergies and what the reaction looks like. Most especially please include an emergency phone number for you, an emergency contact in the area, and the name and phone number of your pet's veterinarian. Rest assured, your precious pup will be treated as if he/she was my own! I have no breed preferences or restrictions. As seen on my profile, I only take SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED DOGS ( UP TO 30 POUNDS).

When Kim watches your pet

My dog, much like all dogs, love routine. I know the importance of a routine in making dogs feel happy, secure, and trusting of their environment. I promise to make routine a priority in caring for your pets too. I will follow your dog's schedule as you desire. A typical doggy day in our home starts with potties and breakfast. I encourage both playtime and rest time throughout the day. A midday snack follows afternoon potties, and is raw baby carrots or green beans. When weather permits, I'll take Breezy for a walk around the complex. Breezy loves playing tuggy with her toys and knows them by name! Breezy gets a "tiny doggy bladder" potty time at 4. Dinnertime is usually 6:30 pm in our home preceded by a potty time. Breezy chills out after dinner and we usually spend a quiet evening sitting on our couch on her favorite pillow, freshly brushed and with her jammies on (as the season warrants). In the evening, we sometimes treat her to a Kong with natural peanut butter in it, or some of my homemade cookies. Other times, we'll play or practice commands. She loves to be brushed and the occasional peanut butter licks that she gets are just an added bonus! A potty break again before bedtime, followed by hugs, kisses and "I love you's" end her doggy day. Our home is very pet friendly. All dogs are allowed on furniture . We do not fuss over messes made, or any accidents. Our pup is part of our family and I will treat yours the same!
