Dog trainer available for walking
I have been a professional dog trainer at Petsmart and on my own in recent years. I have also owned, trained, and walked my own dogs for 29 years. We recently lost our 14 year old dog, and are not able to get another because we are renting. I miss walking and engaging with dogs and thought while we can’t get our own right now, this would give me a great opportunity to love on other pups around town. I have lots of experience with many different breeds of dogs with my training background, and I have personally owned herding dogs, which take a lot of training and walking. I am happy to work on training tricks or manners for anyone that wants me to. I work part time so I am available during those weekday hours when most people have to work. I am not available much on Saturdays because I work 10 hours but depending on proximity to my house I can do drops ins. I make sure when I go into a home that everything looks ok. I make sure water bowls are full and check for any dangers. While dog sitting for a lady I went into her home and smelled a gas leak. I called her immediately and took the dog outside. We waited outside for the gas company to come check it out. This was in Colorado where every home has natural gas run to it. Just an example of things I watch out for. I am also very careful not to let pets out any doors without a leash.

I do not have enough kind words!!! Wow, just wow. Kim went above and beyond for Buffy (and Roscoe!). Her attentiveness and kind heart was welcomed with open arms. She truly lightened the stress of being away from home with the most wonderful check ins and updates. Kim treats your animals as how she would want hers treated, like her children. She even taught Buffy a cool new trick! Did I mention, amazing?! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
She's the best. Kim was playing with my kittens, and I could see from the pictures that they were having fun. I am now only going to refer to her!

I can come by a couple times a day to make sure they have a chance to go potty and a little love throughout the day.

I am very careful to not let any pets leave without a leash. I give them love and attention based on their needs, and make sure everything is good. I can do short evening walks too.

A typical day
I like to stick to shady walks where possible so that the dogs and myself won’t overheat. We could work on training as well, which stimulates the dogs brain making them happier.
