Pet care experience
Your pet’s mental health matters too 🖤
I'm an animal lover who grew up helping take care of the family dog, then raised a large breed puppy (pit mix) while in college. I have also cared for cats in my time! About me: I’m an American who ended up in Birmingham and became a parent to the best little boy 🫶 he is with me half the time, so if you have a pet you’re concerned about being around a young child, we can arrange days and times when I am child-free. He has grown up with a Westie dog so for his part, he knows to be gentle! For me, dogs/cats are like people and each requires and deserves special attention and care. P.S. — I enjoy photography so I enjoy capturing some great photos of your pet!

Our dog stayed with Kim overnight, from the start Kim was very friendly explaining everything to us as we were nervous leaving him for the first time. Kim was very informative. We met Kim and they got on really well. Kim kept us updated throughout and this was nice. Our dog was very happy when picked up we’d use Kim again.

Brilliant as always! Thank you xx

Misty had a great time with Kim, she sent lots of pictures and kept us well informed throughout her stay. Thank you!

Really happy with the way the updates were given by Kim. Although my dog had separation anxiety, she handled with so much care. Thanks Kim x

Great sitter who looked after lil Jules great. Good communication throughout and the lil pup loves going back.

Very happy with the service that Kim provided. It was only a brief overnight stay but clearly Lottie was happy and comfortable. Kim was keen to follow Lottie’s usual regime and kept us updated with photos. We would definitely ask Kim to look after Lottie again.

Schedule
Job-wise, I’m a WFH, co-parenting mom. So walks would be 1-2 per day; either on work breaks for myself or taking my son to the playground where the dogs can also run free (it’s gated).
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I’ll aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible so they feel at ease while you’re away. I’ll make sure they’re settled and have attention from me here and there while working. I usually play chill music that gives them a nice ambience until we take our next walk. If you have a puppy I can even work on training them using my experience teaching my dog all the basics and a few cool tricks.
A typical day
I can take your dog to the park down the street which is a favorite for both my son and the dogs we’ve had! We like playing chase and tug of war with our guests :)
- Cats0 to 7 kg7 to 18 kg18 to 45 kgDogs over 1 year oldNo females in heatTakes only 1 client at a timeKim can host up to 1 pet per night
- All dogs have to be confirmed as comfortable with young kids, proven to be non-reactive and non-herding tendencies with small children. ***If your dog isn’t friendly with dogs and can’t be booked alongside others, please let me know ASAP so I can keep my days dedicated to their stay. I often have at least one dog over so best to confirm before we do meet & greets, etc. Otherwise, it’s safe to assume by default, they might be introduced to other dogs during their stay.
