I'll care for your pet like my own.
I started taking care of neighbors' and friends' dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds when I was 14 years old. I love animals and wildlife of all kinds. I have been a cat and dog mom for 28 years and have had 2 leash and dog-reactive dogs (strong, 60 pound+ mutt and pit bull) so I am experienced in dealing with these situations. I have strong situational awareness with my head on a swivel when walking dogs. My senior kitty required specialized medical care at the end of her life with daily prescription medication and subcutaneous fluids. I have volunteered as a dog walker and cat snuggler at Friends of Homeless Animals rescue. I have been a social worker for 30 years and am nearing retirement from full-time employment. I would love to use my love of animals to continue working as a pet-sitter and dog walker. I am very organized, detail-oriented and will care for your pet as I care for my own. I would love to meet you and your pets to see how I can be of service.

I will care for your pet in your home so that they will be the most comfortable. I am available for overnight stays to keep your pet company and to provide close supervision, lots of TLC, food, water, potty breaks and anything else you may need. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am very detail-oriented, responsible and dependable. As a bit of an overprotective dog mom, I have needed to entrust my dog's care to a pet sitter. My dog is my world. So I know just how valuable trust, dependability and attention to detail are. What matters to you matters to me. I will follow your instructions down to the smallest detail. I will be diligent in communicating with you, sending regular updates and photos of your pet so that you know they are safe and happy in my care.

Kim was one of the first people I met when I moved to Loudoun County 25 years ago. I can honestly say she is one of the kindest, most authentic caring humans I have ever met. She recently house/dog sat for me and thru her volunteer training with FOHA she asked me questions about my dogs that most baby sitters never asked me about when hired to care for my children. She sent pictures, updates, eating, bathroom and walk updates throughout the day. Her demeanor is friendly, engaging & also so calm and soothing....I am not kidding when I say that I could tell my dogs missed her when I returned home. I would recommend Kim at a walker, sitter, employee, friend...she is honestly an amazing person. Rover would be lucky if she chose to join your organization! Good Luck to Rover :-)

Kim and I have been coworkers and friends for over 25 years. She is one of the most loving, caring, supportive and compassionate individuals I know. Kim has always had furbabies, which are her children. She volunteers and devotes her time to local animal shelters and rescues. I know she will take care of your beloved pet just as if they were her own.

Programa
I currently work full-time Monday through Friday but am retiring at the end of September. My weekends are currently free. I have some flexibility in my weekday schedule so I may be available on a case-by-case basis for weekday dog walks that are in western Loudoun County and within a 10 minute drive of my home.
