We love animals! Grant and I (Kim) both grew up with dogs in our families and have loved showing our son how wonderful animals are (he aspires to be a vet one day). We often dog sit for our extended family and love having more pets on the home to play with our. We currently have a 25 lb dog (clover) and two indoor cats (taco and huck) for your pet to socialize with. We will welcome and care for your fur baby as we would care for our own! I am currently in graduate school and I will be home with your pet during the day. My husband is home during the evening so he will be with your pet while I am in classes. We typically take our high energy dog on two walks a day; one in the morning and one in the evening. Your pet would be included in these walks. We also have an unfenced yard that my son and I spend a lot of time in during the day and we would like to have the dogs out there with us on leashes. Our cats are dog friendly and taco in particular will be an excellent cuddle buddy for your pet! If you are not sure how your animal is around cats we can keep the cats separated during your animals stay.

Our puppy Pepper stayed with Kim and Grant and their son for almost 2 weeks while we were away. I can’t say enough about how great they were. From the initial meet and greet to pictures/videos of Pepper while we were away, they made us completely comfortable that she would be and was well taken care of. We loved seeing the videos of Pepper playing with their dog Clover and the photos of her being cute (especially the one of Pepper and Cover snuggling). Communication with them from beginning to end was fantastic! And they are so flexible with drop off and pick up. We definitely use Kim and Grant when we go away again. And I have a feeling Pepper is looking forward to it.
Kim and Grant did a wonderful job watching our Golden, Daphne. They were very good communicators and I know our dog enjoyed her time with them. I would highly recommend them!

Please let me know if your pet has special needs we are happy to learn and accommodate you and your pets requests! We are happy to take any breed and look for for temperament. Since we have a child in the home and other animals we will not accept aggressive dogs (of any size) for safety reasons.
Ein typischer Tag
A typical day for us starts with a walk and then breakfast. After breakfast the pets rest while we get dressed. Then we go outside until lunchtime. After lunch we have more rest time. Then outside for the afternoon and another walk. When we come in it’s dinner time, prep for bedtime and lights out around 8 for young ones and 10 for adults.
