About me..... I am highly energetic and so very passionate about dogs! As an animal lover, I've kept just about every kind of animal you can keep in a home..... dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, hamsters, mice, gerbils, lizards, snakes and even a tarantula! When I bought my first home, I quickly became the dog sitter to just about everybody’s dogs I know, my place often referred to as the “doggy fun house”. Recently I purchased a new home and am excited to once again be able to care for some furry guests! I've had dogs my whole life and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes....... especially a fan of the herding and working dogs! Those 7 special dogs I've had the pleasure of sharing my life with so far have given me lots of experience, and a solid understanding of how dogs think! I have to 2 dogs at this time, both heeler/collie mixes so I'm also used to those pups who are highly active and highly intelligent! My passion for pups has also lead me to enrol in a Canine Specialist program with Stratford Career Institute which I Completed with honours as well as follow a new career path in animal care. Prior to working with rover, I worked in retail management as a district sales manager overseeing up to 23 locations across central and eastern Canada. Since even my own dogs can't tire me out, I am looking to make more furry friends in my area. Whether it's for a quick visit just for company, a walk to tire them out or an overnight stay...... I look forward to spending time with your fur baby!
