Things that may be helpful to know… • we both work remotely so spend lots of time with the dog/cat • we enjoying walking and love having an active pooch to join us, equally we are more than happy for gentle smaller walks if that’s what needed for the dog • we give lots of interaction with the animal (going with their boundaries always) and find that the dog/cat are very happy when it comes to leave • we genuinely make friends with the pets we look after, and are sad when we leave • due to our lifestyle it is unlikely that we will be able to regular house sits unless we are returning to the area

How many we communicate… • we want you (the pet owner) to enjoy your trip as much as you can with as little worry for your loved one at home, so we are happy to give daily updates with photos/videos if that’s helps, or can send updates to what suits you • due to our nomadic lifestyle it is unusual that we would be in the area of a sit when the booking is made, we do our first meet & greets over WhatsApp video call, and then if you are happy to proceed we can visit a few days before the sit to meet you and your pet in person • your pets safety and comfort is our priority so when you return from your trip we will confirm your arrival times within 24 hours beforehand. It’s helpful that we have a flight number as we can check your arrival time our end. We wait until you are in your car and out of the airport before we leave the house locked and safe with a happy pooch. Usually leaving the key with the property according to your instructions.

Instructions are key. We really appreciate detailed instructions to keep the flow of the routine going for your pet. This can include, medications, training, certain behaviours that help us make your dog feel really happy and comfortable.
A typical day
We pride ourselves in keeping the routine you have with your pet going with feeding times, walk times and duration and any other extra activities. We love to give dogs as much attention as they want (as we don’t get to hang out with furry friends all the time). We are more than happy to transport dogs in our campervan, so if it works for the dog we are more than happy to take them for fun days out for them to explore. And always appreciate recommendations.

We have a natural patience with all animals and have spent lots of time with different animals since childhood. We are calm and reliable and fully understand each dog/pet has its own personality and unique needs and we pride ourselves in being able to meet those needs in a peaceful environment for everyone.

Kim and Matt came and stayed at our house for 2 weeks. They looked after our dog while we were away. We had a very helpful introductory video call a few weeks before the sit and they came the week before we went away to visit the house and meet our dog. Their communication at all times was great and they really took the time to understand what we needed while we were away. We came home to an immaculate house with a happy and relaxed dog. They are very friendly and organised and I recommend them very highly, we'd be very happy to have them back in the future.
Superb from start to finish. Mabel was happy when I got home. House was lovely clean. Kept me informed along the way. Could recommend their services enough.
Kim and Matt looked after our dog for 2 weeks whilst we were on holiday. It was a big decision for us choosing a dog sitter and one we wanted to make sure we got right. They took time to make sure they knew his routine and how to make him as settled and happy as possible. They are warm and patient and our dog loved them from the start. I would definitely recommend Kim and Matt and would rebook them without hesitation.
