Loving Animal Care Taker!
Hi! My name is Kim, I'm 34 years old and a lifelong animal lover. I grew up with a dog and have always LOVED animals. Throughout my preteen and teen years, I was the go to pet sitter for my neighbors, caring for their cats and dogs while they were away. I'm also very close with my aunt, who works with the MSPCA and has fostered animals for as long as I can remember, so I've been around pets of all kinds my whole life. Plus, my sister-in-law is a veterinarian, so I always have expert advice just a phone call away if ever needed! While I plan to get a dog of my own one day, I travel a bit too much at the moment to commit full time. In the meantime, I’d love to help care for your pet! I live in Boston, within walking distance of Carson Beach, and would be thrilled to take your dog on long walks, give them plenty of playtime, and of course, lots of love and attention. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, I’d love to help! I live with my husband in a very clean, large apartment, so it would be a healthy environment for your beloved pet!

Clea had an excellent time with Kim! Kim was communicative and shared frequent updates and photos. Clea even had a minor cut on her paw that Kim was quick to treat and manage while Clea was under her care. I will definitely keep Kim in mind for dogsitting in the future, and would definitely recommend Kim for other pet parents in Boston!
Kim was fantastic! She took incredible care of our pup, sent us so many pics and videos throughout her stay, and took her on so many fun walks and adventures! We would absolutely ask Kim to watch our pup again in the future.
Kim was responsive and my dog Ouji absolutely loves her! Boarding with Kim always puts my mind at ease.
I boarded my husky Ouji with Kim over the Christmas and New Year holidays and she was absolutely amazing. She even got Ouji some Christmas presents! During the two-week stay, she would provide me updates throughout the day and was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Overall I was very happy with Kim and was able to feel relaxed knowing that Ouji was in great hands. Would 100% recommend!
Kim responded very quickly and was able to take Lola in the same day as I requested. She was also kind enough to cancel and partially refund us for having to cut our stay short because of an emergency. A whirlwind of 24 hours, but I will definitely be reaching out again when needed, thank you!
Kim took great care of Mavi and provided us with many photos and updates. Will definitely use her again!

Schedule
My husband and I both work on weekdays, so your pet would be alone from 8am-3pm, but we are both home on weekends. I am a teacher, so if it is over holidays, school vacations, or summers, I am very flexible and home majority of the time.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a 1000sq ft one bedroom apartment in Dorchester. It is located directly in South Bay Plaza. There is a designated dog area outside, and we are within walking distance to Carson Beach and the dog park near by (if you are a dog park person). Our building is pet friendly, so there are lots of furry friends to make friends with! Our lobby even has a jar of dog treats available 24/7. My husband and I are also extremely clean, so our apartment would be a very healthy environment for your animal!
A typical day
I love playing constantly with the animals. I watch to stimulate them mentally and psychically. I will be as active or as laid back as you’d prefer. I personally love going for hikes and the beach in my free time and I’d love to have a furry companion with me!
