Information Kim C. would like to know about your pet
I love poodles, sporting breeds like spaniels, retrievers and pointers. It's ok if your dog barks to warn but I'm not able to take dogs that are overly "vocal" since much of my work is on the phone. I won't take aggressive dogs because mine are too precious to me. We are all very sweet around here and understand if you're a little grumpy we just don't want you to take it out on us. Dogs must be potty trained. Dogs that dig or try to escape the fenced yard would not do well here as mine love being here and I don't want them to learn any bad habits.
A typical day
My neighborhood is very dog friendly and a park is nearby. If your dog wants to go on walks, I'd likely take the walk with my 2 yo poodle and leave the small ones at home - when it's hot theyd rather stay home anyway! Fetch in the backyard is one of our favorite things to do or just sit and watch me garden.

Pet care experience
Currently I have 3 poodles, but I have had as many as six dogs at one time - now that my kids are adults, their dogs come and stay often. I work from home and my three dogs hang out with me in the office but have free roam of the house. We take walks once a day or more but there's always time to go out in the yard and play. When I was little my grandparents would ask when I would have children. I always told them I wasn't going to have any, just dogs. Well, I'm super happy I grew up and had children but now that they're grown - I still love to share my life with dogs. This situation allows me to indulge in having a semi - pack without permanently having a pack!
