Dogs = family
I adopted my first dog (as an adult) 22 years ago and can’t imagine life without one. My dog has helped me through so much just by being at my side, and that was something I didn’t quite understanding while growing up with the family dogs, as much as I loved them. GOOD TO KNOW FOR NEW CLIENTS: While I’m happy to jump in and help on short notice, when available, I do require a meet and greet in a neutral location. For overnights, I have a dog at home. While she is good with most dogs, there is always a chance our dogs do not mesh. I require a meet and greet including my dog in a neutral location. I grew up with large Collies and Irish Setters, so medium to large dogs have always been a part of my life. As an adult, I’ve adopted and trained two puppies and seen one through cancer treatment. My experience covers: puppies, training, sick dogs, reactive dogs, overly energetic dogs, elderly dogs and lazy dogs. There’s very little I haven’t had direct experience handling, for better or worse. While I don’t claim to be an expert, little about a dog’s behavior or issues worries or shocks me at this point.

Thank you!!

Kim is fantastic and our dog is happy hanging out with her and her sweet dog.

Kim is an absolute dog lover and has been our dog walker for 3 years. We have a little high maintenance Frenchie that is always getting into everything and we always appreciate her keeping a close eye on her when we are not around to take her out. She also helps watch our dog when we are out of town. She is very trustworthy and an amazing dog mom, dog walker and dog caretaker.
Kim is the most kind, compassionate and trustworthy pet caregiver. She doesn’t just walk my dog, she goes above and beyond with love, training tips, and communication. I highly recommend Kim!
Kim has watched my dog Nicky multiple times over the last few years and she has always taken the best care of him. In each picture and video Kim has sent me of Nicky while in her care, I can see he is definitely living his best life! Kim treats my Nicky like he is her own. Lots of walks, lots of play time, treats and love.
I have known Kim both professionally and personally for over a decade. She kind, dependable and very resourceful. Specifically with pets she showers them with love and has years of experience with both her own dogs and her friends pets. She watched my 17 year old small breed for a week, he was so well cared for and we received ample pictures. I would recommend Kim for any job but I put pet sitter at the top of the list.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time and looking to fill my spare time with more physical activity. What better way to accomplish that than to play with and walk dogs! I’m available mornings from 7am to 10am, evenings from 6p-9p and all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I treat your pet as I treat mine, with love and patience. If you have a routine your pup is accustomed to, I’m happy to step in and help keep that consistent.
Pets
A typical day
I lean into what your pet finds engaging. If that’s a slow walk to sniff everything in our path, that’s what we do. Sniffing being a great mental activity that can often wear out a dog just as much, if not more than, a long brisk walk. If we need to hit the hills to wear your pup out, that’s what we do. Again, it’s all about what your pup needs.
