I work from home part-time. I am available for boarding every day of the week. I am available for dog walking, dog daycare or drop ins long term due to a varying schedule but can accommodate most requests so please ask.

I watch dogs in my home closely and follow whatever rules dog owners use for their own dogs. Your dog can be crated if needed and will only go off leash if the owner and myself are confident your dog will not run or put other dogs at risk. I have several dog beds, bowls and lots of toy options.

Your dog must get along with other dogs. At a minimum, my dog will be present and there may be other dogs boarding. Please advise if dog requires crate or has separation anxiety. If your dog has specific instructions, ie, allergy, special diet, barks when alone.
A typical day
Multiple walks per day, trips to various dog parks especially Boston Common, occasionally Charles River Esplanade, Christopher Columbus Park. Some other activities: fetch for pups who love to retrieve, play at home with various toy options, snuggles on the couch. Dogs can sleep on my bed.

Pet care experience
Dogs in my care become new friends and I treat them as my own. I have a 14 year old schnoodle who is the third dog I’ve had. I primarily work from home and am also a counselor for pet owners. Therefore my schedule is flexible. I have tons of experience with dogs. I am a foster for a local dog rescue and have had several foster pups in my home. A few years ago I took in a hospice adoption which was life changing. I am passionate about senior dogs. I always make sure dogs in my care are active and am at the local dog park daily. There isn’t a situation I haven’t encountered with my own dogs or dogs I previously sat for. This includes senior dogs, chronic illness, medications, special diets, separation anxiety, aggression, resource guarding, puppies, high energy, dogs in heat, house breaking issues.

Kim regularly sits our senior dog Jack and he has extra needs like a diaper and cone. She is so kind and always willing to help make sure Jack is comfortable. She is easy to communicate with, on time (even when we aren’t!) and consistent. He always comes back happy and well. Kim also kindly returned Jack’s items cleaned which we so appreciate as busy parents.
Excellent communication throughout his stay. My dog had an excellent time!
