We are pretty flexible with our current schedule but, unless we're traveling, we are usually able to accommodate with sufficient notice. But, having a very active dog ourselves, we devote a good deal of our time making sure he has plenty of activity and understand that is what most dog parents are looking for.

Our back yard is completely fenced and large enough to get some good running in. As a rule, inside the house, we prefer dogs not be on the furniture but with smaller breeds, we usually break that rule a bit! It is helpful if the dog is crate trained in the event we do have to leave the home for some reason but not required.

A typical day
We enjoy getting out in nature with our dogs - either to the river/lakes or into the mountains but walks or runs around the neighborhoods are always good as well. Mental stimulation is great as well so we love to engage the dogs in using their noses!!

Pet care experience
We've owned and cared for several dogs over the last 50 years. We love all of them and enjoy spending time hiking, swimming and just hanging out with them all. We are both retired and currently have a 5 yr old lab that needs LOTS of exercise so we enjoy getting out and about or just playing a good game of fetch in the yard. We run and/or walk several miles each week. We have a fully fenced yard and our dog(s) are all crate trained but that's not a requirement of your furry friend. Our dog loves other dogs and just wants to play! We've had numerous pets over the course of the years with a variety of ailments that we've treated or had to deal with. Nothing phases us!
Reviews
Our little Girl wasn't feeling well today and had a hard time walking. Kim and Allen actually carried her home. Such great care and compassion with the T's.
Kim & Allen were great! They took Lula on walks, filled up a kiddie pool so she could stay cool, & gave her lots of pets and love. They were very responsive, and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our fur baby with them. Lula stayed with them 3 days in a row and each time we dropped her off, Lula was wagging her tail & very excited to see Kim & Allen. They are wonderful people; we will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you Kim & Tim for watching Lula so we could watch our Son's Swim Meet.
Kim & Allen are great at watching the weather, to adjust walks by a day in anticipation of foul weather or starting early on hot days, making sure everyone gets out for their weekly walk.
For our busy schedules, it's nice to know that Gracie gets the extra time walking when we just need a break ourselves. Thanks Kim and Allen!
