I currently work full time. If you prefer for me to stay in your home then I'll let your pet out/walk/ check on them and feed them in the mornings and in the evenings. I am typically able to check on them during the middle of the day and let them out/ walk them then too however sometimes work does not allow this. If I do drop ins I will do them early in the morning, before 7:30, if possible then I will check on them between 11:30am and 1:30pm, between 5:30 and 7:30 pm, and between 8:30-10pm if requested.

I will ask for detailed instructions on how you'd like your pet to be let out/ walked and specific feeding/ medicating instructions. I will be happy to stay in your home or just do drop ins throughout the day, whichever you prefer.

Please let me know if any medical of behavioral conditions that your pet has. I am happy to accommodate whatever these are! For pets that have more behavioral concerns (anxiety, fear aggression, etc.) I am also happy to come by a few time prior to booking dates to do trial runs, meet, and allow your pet to become adjusted to me being in your home.
A typical day
I will do everything I can to keep your pet on their current routine to decrease stress and anxiety while you are away but I will not do anything they are not comfortable with. I am very familiar with behavioral signs of both dogs and cats so I will only do things that they are open to do (and yes this sometimes means I can just be in the room with them keeping them company and not touching or try to make them play). I have experience caring for very nervous pets that do not want to be handled/ interacted with as much as well as very excited pets that do not meet a stranger. I will adjust how I interact with them based on what your pet's behavior is telling me that they are most comfortable with.

Hi! My name is Kierstyn. I'm an experienced vet tech with knowledge of how to handle healthy pets, medically complex pets that require medications, and emergencies if they were to happen. From my work experience I know that some pets do much better in their own home rather than in a boarding facility or having to be watched at someone else's home and I would love to be able to allow the pet for feel more safe and comfortable by allowing them to stay in their own home.

We loved having Kierstyn do drop in visits while we were away she was soo kind and sweet to our boys and I feel extremely confident w her around animals. She works close by at a vet clinic which is a huge plus! She sent great updates and even did an extra drop in for me last min due to some weather. Really appreciate her helping us! Highly recommend
I could not be more thankful for Kierstyn and the way she cared for my girl! She was communicative and sent daily photo updates, and when my flight got delayed, she quickly offered to stay longer or come back that afternoon if needed. I’m so happy to have found Kierstyn and so is Jude Paw!
We LOVED Kierstyn! She was absolutely fabulous with our 2 bichon frises. We were traveling from out of town for a wedding and liked that she was a vet tech. As soon as she met our babies she quickly assessed their personalities and befriended them. Our older one takes a while to warm up to people but instantly fell in love with her. Our baby is only 5 months and she gave us great insight into his development because of her background and experience. When we come back to Georgia we will definitely use Kierstyn again. Thank you Kierstyn for taking care of our babies!!!
