Hi! I’m Kiera, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years through neighbors, family friends, and personal experience. I started pet sitting and dog walking at 16 and have experience with drop-in visits, daily walks, overnight stays, medication administration, and caring for dogs with medical or special needs. I currently have a 1.5-year-old Standard Poodle, so I’m very familiar with high-energy, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m also definitely the “crazy dog mom” who worries about every little thing and doesn’t trust just anyone with my baby — so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you feel completely comfortable leaving your pet with. Because of that, I take communication, safety, and trust very seriously. I know pets are family, not “just dogs.” During the week, I work as a Pre-K teacher, and building trust with children and families is a huge part of what I do every day. I bring that same patience, attentiveness, and compassion into pet care. I want pet parents to feel the same comfort and confidence that I would want for my own dog. I’m especially comfortable working with senior dogs or pets who may need extra patience and attention, as my two previous dogs had complex medical conditions that gave me extensive experience with medications, routines, and monitoring health concerns.
