Loving your pets like they're mine!
Hey, I’m Kiki! I’ve had pets my whole life. I got my first dog of my own when I was 18. I lost my soul dog Beans at 9 years old to cancer in April 2022 after 7 years together, but someone abandoned their golden retriever puppy into my care in March 2023. I like to say that the universe knew we needed each other. She was definitely unexpected, but has been an absolute blessing. I do prefer that she come along with me to house sits as much as possible. She has some separation anxiety and just prefers to be with her momma! Wednesday is extremely emotionally intelligent and does incredibly well with all dogs she meets. She is also definitely well trained and respectful of people's homes. I am occasionally able to make other arrangements for her on a case by case basis! I've been house/pet-sitting full time for over two years now! I was also a boarding kennel attendant for multiple years, so I have all kinds of skills and understanding of your pets potential needs! I’m extremely patient and compassionate with animals and many of my friends and family rely on me for pet care. I’m really flexible and willing to work with you to make sure your pet is comfortable and happy! Having lost a dog to cancer, I have a special understanding of what that’s like to go through. I am experienced and comfortable with hospice and end-of-life care. It’s such a privilege to care for senior and special needs dogs. I’ve had multiple clients reach out to me to be a part of their pet’s support system during this extremely difficult time. I’m happy to discuss rates for drop-ins/care of this nature. 🤍 That being said, I’m definitely comfortable with all ages, breeds, and sizes! I just have a soft spot for the old ones and the little ones 😸

I’m really detail-oriented and dedicated to making you and your pet(s) comfortable and happy. I treat my clients pets and homes as if they were mine for the time that I’m with them. My house is clean and animal-proofed. We have several baby gates and crates if necessary. We keep potty pads and belly bands/diapers just in case buddies get nervous in a new environment. Pets are never left alone with my dog Wednesday if I am not there. She is so submissive and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, but we just like to be extra cautious with new dogs who aren’t in our “family”. I have tons of natural treats and chews, lick mats, toys, dog beds you name it lol they will definitely be spoiled rotten at Kiki’s!!

We’ve had many pet sitters in our lifetime, and Kiara was *by far* the best!! Her attention to detail, not only with our animals but also our home, really set her a part from the rest! We never for a moment felt that our animals were getting anything than the absolute best care and love from her! And the daily updates and photos were very appreciated also! THANK YOU!!!! 🥰☺️

Kiara was excellent at communicating how the cats were doing. It was clear that she loved my cats, and she was willing to stick to their exact routine even though it requires lots of different feeding times! I hope Kiara can care for my cats again because she even managed to win over my anxious cat within the first 10 minutes of arriving at our house!! She is a true animal lover and lovely person!
Kiki saved the day!! I was in a pinch and Kiara was incredibly flexible and able to accommodate my request for help on very short notice. I was very nervous about leaving my 11 wk old puppy and old lady cat for a weekend out of state, but was immediately calmed by Kiara's calm and sunny presence. She was communicative, sending updates throughout her stay and even worked on training with my little guy. I felt at peace and was able to enjoy a great trip knowing that she was taking care of my babes like they were her own. She'll be on speed dial from here on out!

I am currently pet-sitting full time! I am taking a much needed break from the service industry to do something that truly makes me happy. My schedule is extremely flexible. Aside from occasional walks/drop-ins and personal commitments I am able to be at your home full time. I’m super careful about not over-scheduling myself so that all the buddies I take care of receive the best care possible.
