Hi everyone! My name is Kiara Myre, and I’m originally from Anchorage, Alaska. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always had a genuine love for caring for them. Over the years, I’ve learned that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I really enjoy getting to know each pup individually. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I’m comfortable following each dog’s specific routine and care instructions. I also have experience administering medication to dogs when needed. My own dogs, Olive and Ruby, are a huge part of my life, and I previously helped raise and train my family’s Cane Corso, Harley. Working with Harley taught me a lot about patience, consistency, boundaries, and understanding that every dog responds differently. He also taught me that, at the end of the day, dogs want to feel loved, safe, and included. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to provide whatever your pup needs—potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, medication, or simply some company and attention. For walks, I love getting dogs outside for exercise and enrichment, whether they enjoy a relaxed neighborhood walk or a little more activity. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your dogs with the same love, patience, and attention I give Olive and Ruby, while making sure their normal routine is followed as closely as possible. I’ll also keep you updated during each visit, so you know how your pup is doing. I genuinely love animals and would be excited to meet you and your fur babies!

Safety, trust & environment
The safety and comfort of your pets are my top priorities. During drop-in visits, I’ll follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any other care they need. For walks, I’m attentive to my surroundings and always prioritize your dog’s safety. I make sure gates and doors are securely closed, keep dogs leashed unless you specifically instruct otherwise, and avoid situations that could make your pet uncomfortable or unsafe. I understand that trusting someone with your pets and your home is a big deal. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own and your pets with the same patience, care, and attention I give my own dogs, Olive and Ruby. I’ll also keep you updated during visits, so you know your pets are happy, safe, and cared for.
Ratings and reviews
Kiara did a great job watching our Great Dane and two kittens. She sent photos when she watched our animals and also asked great questions to get to know our pets during the meet and greet. Our home was clean and tidy when we returned from our trip. We would be happy to have her house sit again!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and am primarily available for morning and midday dog walks and drop-in visits. I love helping pets stick to their normal routine while their owners are at work or away for the day. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule and care instructions. Whether they need a morning walk, a midday potty break, a meal, or just some extra attention and playtime, I’m happy to be there!

- Before your visit, I’d love to know a little about your pet so I can make sure they have the best possible experience! Please let me know about their personality, energy level, usual routine, feeding and potty schedule, and anything they especially love (or don’t love). It’s also helpful to know about any medications, allergies, health concerns, fears, reactivity, or behaviors I should be aware of, especially around other dogs, people, or certain situations. For walks, please let me know if your dog is comfortable riding in a car, as I’m happy to take them to a nearby park with your permission. Most importantly, I want to know anything that will help me keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy!
