Pet care experience
Animals are family not just pets.
For 4 years I volunteered at the local animal shelter. I dealt with dogs and cats. I was also a grooming assistant while I was there. I have always loved dogs and cats big and small. I own 2 cats and love them dearly. Though I do not have dogs of my own, I grew up around several that I always took care of. I have a real love for animals and I love helping others with their animals which is why I would love to dog sit or cat sit for you. I have taken care of several people's companions and it has been such a joy. From big dogs to small dogs they all have their own unique quality that makes them special. I have learned to teach some dogs tricks as well as just keeping them calm in a crazy environment. My mother calls me the dog and cat whisperer because I seem to say the right thing to get animals to calm down. If I get the chance to be around your companion we will be going to the park, out for walks in the fresh air, and just have a good time all around. Giving animals the attention they need and deserve is a big priority in life and that is what I can provide. Like I said before I love animals and I will do anything to keep them safe, happy, and enjoying life.

I do not do boarding or doggie day care because I have two cats at home that have never been around dogs. But I will make sure your animals are always safe on their own home.

We love Kiana. She is the best. She is like one of our best friends who loves our furry kids. Kiana's note and photos make us smile and happy while we are away from home.
Our cats love Kiana and want to her at the window and kitchen kouter. They talk to her and sit on her lap getting her love and attention. We feel very luck to have her and be able to travel without worrying about our cats at home.
My cats love Kiana and want to play with her because they know she love them. We feel very lucky that we found Kiana!

Kiana did a great job with our dogs. She came over to the house early to meet the dogs and make sure that it was a good match. One of my dogs is very timid and Kiana was gentle and patient with getting him comfortable. Kiana also stayed at our house overnight while we were out of town. The dogs did well with her and everything was in order when we returned home. She communicated to us all weekend with photos and texts. I highly recommend Kiana!

Schedule
I do currently have a 3 hour monday- friday job, so I unfortunately will not be a good fit for someone who is looking for 24/7 sitter care. I do not work weekends so as long as I am not with another sitting I am completely free. I am available for walking, check-ins, and house-sitting. I am learning to be more active so I may spoil with 2 walks a day if they are normally given one a day. If you have any questions about pricing or anything please let me know. I am sometimes very open depending on the situation.

- I always want to know what kind of quirks your pet may have. What makes them happy and what makes them angry. Are they in need of attention all of the time or do they like their space. As much information you can give me through message before meeting in person can help the meet and greet with your pet go smoother. Also what kind of treats does your pet like. Are they picky about the kinds of treats you give them or will they eat anything they can get. Let me know.
