I have no pets in my home currently, but I do sometimes care for my parents’ two large dogs and my sister’s two weenies when needed. The big dogs are very energetic and active, so I take them for very long walks and sometimes bring them to county parks nearby. The weenies tire out when walking, so I enjoy bringing a wagon with me in case they need a lift. I used to own two cats with my ex, but he owns them now. When I did own cats, I had a good understanding of their dietary needs and mental stimulation needs.

Information Kiana M. would like to know about your pet
I would love if you would include your pet’s meal times and the amount of food I should give them, let me know what commands they know, what their required medication might be, daily routine, favorite toy, favorite snacks, who to call for emergencies, and where they like to go for walks.
A typical day
A typical day starts with me calmly entering your home and introducing myself to your pet. I find their leash, then take them out for a 15-30 minute walk depending on what your pet is comfortable with. We get back, and I give your pet lots of love and attention. By now your pet is probably hungry and it’s mealtime. I put food in their bowl, then we settle down and I might do a quick doodle of your companion because I love animals so much.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Kiana. I’m energetic, fun, and creative. I love animals and would like to paint them while I’m watching them. I’m a watercolor and acrylic artist and poet. I recently lost a beloved dog of 15 years in our home and life feels a lot emptier without a pet to play with and go on walks. I would be thrilled to meet your pet and give it the love and attention it deserves. During your pet’s stay with me or an overnight visit in your own home, you can expect that I will play with your pets with their favorite toys after taking them out on a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. You can expect at least 3-4 walks, and photo updates from me. When they seem adequately tired, I’ll take out my watercolor paints and do my best to capture them while they are still. You have the option of purchasing anything you like later. Otherwise, it was still time spent having fun. I look forward to meeting your furry companions.

She was awesome with our furballs!!

Kiana was great and gave my kitty all the snuggles while i was away!
I never had a dog walker, or pet sitter, before so I was really anxious at first. Would my 175 pound English Bull Mastiff, Misty accept Kiana? Misty is a lovable girl to her family, but is VERY protective. If she is not comfortable with you, she will give a huge bark to warn you then stand alert between her family and an unknown person. It takes her a while to trust anyone. Its been over two years since we adopted her, and she still barks at my brother-in-law! When Kiana came to our house for the first time, I warned her not to get into Misty's face, and to wait for Misty to warm up to her. Well, it didn't take long at all. Misty accepted Kiana immediately! Misty allowed Kiana to pet her and get in her face. Kiana was calm, laid back and friendly. She was like Caesar Chavez...the Dog Whisperer! Kiana was on time and was prepared to walk Misty. Kiana asked where her leash was and immediately harnessed her in. Misty stood still and let her put it on. Misty followed Kiana out the door with no hesitation. They walked around our hilly neighborhood for a good 30-40 minutes. Misty came in exhausted and slept like a baby. Kiana told me that Misty did not pull on the leash at all. When Misty sees Kiana, she rubs up against her and wags her tail. Looks like Misty has a new friend. Misty can't wait for her next walk with Kiana! Your dogs won't be disappointed!
Kiana was simply amazing with our cat Noodles! Not only did she follow all instructions with feeding/water perfectly, but she also played with and entertained Noodles while she was there which is very important to us. She sent us updates while we were away, which always makes us feel awesome. On top of doing all that, She also created an illustration of Noodles in space! It is so fun & great, we plan on hanging it up in the house. She is creative, kind, mellow mannered & will treat your fur babies to the love & care that they deserve while you’re away!
