Availability
I currently work full time for Mankato Area Public Schools Monday-Friday. I am available before 8:30AM and after 4:30PM on weekdays for walks as well as check ins with your pup. I can typically make mid day check ins work as well! I will be available all day on the weekends for check ins, and walks.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavioral issues. My main concern is keeping all pets safe and well cared for so if your dog needs to be the only one I care for at a time I am more than willing to provide that. I would love to help work on training if behavioral issues are a problem!
A typical day
I love the different trails around Mankato and take my own dogs there regularly for walks. I look forward to exploring the trails with your dogs too! Red Jacket Trail is one of my favorite places to take my dogs for walks as it is so long and has so much potential to explore. Fetch and tug-a-war are just a couple basic games I enjoy playing with the dogs in my fenced in backyard. I also enjoy hiding treats and allowing dogs to search for them in order to stimulate their brain more!

Pet care experience
I have had experience with many different dog breeds of all shapes and sizes! I currently have a Husky, a Husky/Malamute mix, an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix and a Saint Bernard/Rottweiler mix, so I’m not afraid of a big dog. I also have cared for smaller breeds such as Cocker Spaniels, Daschunds, Terriers, and Chihuahua’s. While not a certified trainer I pride myself on training my current dogs, two are sled dogs in training and the other is training to be a guardian through at home training and classes. The love I have for my dogs will certainly extend to your furry family member!

Kiana took care of my little chi when I went on vacation a few years ago. She took great care of her, and made sure I was kept up to date with pictures and updates each day. My chi has since passed away and I still look back at those photos from the visit. I'm so thankful they got to spend time together!
Kiana was fantastic! Lots of photo updates of our kitties while we were gone and they seemed all happy and well taken care of when we got home.
Kiana has been so good to our pups! She is reliable and loving! Our dogs get so excited to see her!!
Just plain awesome. Strongly recommend. Will use again when needed.
