Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. My goal as a sitter is to make sure your pets are happy and safe when you can’t be with them. I was a full-time pet sitter on Rover for over 2 years! Now my primary job is taking care of my 1.5 year old daughter. I am open to drop-ins in the Airdrie/Balzac area, typically scheduled in the AM(8-10am) and PM(7-8pm) when my daughter goes to sleep. Potential clients, please read through my entire profile for important information before placing a booking request! I know how hard it can be to leave your beloved felines at home (I have three!) I am extremely knowledgeable with cat behaviour, signs of illness, and special needs. I have experience working for a cat rescue and have worked with special needs cats on many occasions. NO cat is too much for me! Animals are my absolute passion in life, and I hope all my clients can see that in the way I care for their pets. I have been involved in cat and dog care since I was 6 years old. I grew up caring for a rescue greyhound and continued to do so until he passed at 14 years old. I have 3 rescue cats (Leonard, Klaus, and Rosie. I am comfortable with all care for cats and dogs. I know how stressful it can be to leave the care of your pets in the hands of a stranger - I want to relieve that stress for you in any way I can. I encourage meet and greets when possible and I keep open communication the entire stay. Meet & greets: I offer complimentary 20 minute meet and greets for all walks/sits for new clients. I generally schedule meets Tuesday-Thursday. Please have pet information and key/entry code ready. Please note that if your key is not ready at the time of the meet I may charge for the additional trip to come collect the key. Key drop-off at the end of the visit is always free. Does your pet need medications? I am comfortable giving oral, injected, and topical medications and don’t charge an extra fee. Please contact me at any time while I am caring for your pet. I make myself available via message at all times that I am awake.

Schedule
Rover is my full-time job - animal care is my PASSION and I am so blessed to be in a position where I can dedicate all my time into this career. Please read: since I care for multiple animals at a time and therefore my schedule is often in flux, by default I give myself a 1 hour window of arrival (if you specify 9am I will arrive between 8am-10am). For OVERNIGHT STAYS: Housesitting AKA overnight stays are considered from dinner time to breakfast (approx 5pm to 9am) if you require drop-ins during the day please let me know and we can book them in if I am available (at an additional cost). I do NOT offer 24 hour stays or constant care, since I do have other pups and kitties to care for.
- CatsKiana can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know any important medical history or personality quirks I should be aware of. The more information about your pet the better so I can assure they are happy and healthy. No detail is too small!
